I meant in a way that Sony is going mess this up and diminish the value of the MCU brand. Just watch, the mediocrity of the Sony movies we have grown accustomed with will jeopardize the MCU. One bad movie, one disagreement and then we end up with a mess up continuity.

The mediocrity of some of marvels own movies didn't do that so Sonys won't

Of course! We have guys who praise everything marvel does, guys who crap on anything positive Marvel does, and guys who just want Sony to burn under the Nuclear fallout by North Korea.

I personally want to see black panther more than Spidey in Civil War

Suppose its the same with Iron Man. A black Tony Stark would break the internet but having Rhodey as Iron Man wouldn't. There'd be some heat for getting rid of Stark but it wouldn't be s bad press as changing him

Exactly. Heck I wouldn't even be opposed to Mackie being Falcon/Cap if the story was on point. Just let Steve be Steve, Peter be Peter, and so on.

I reckon Evans will return as Cap after a few years of Bucky being him. It gives him a break and would be a huge thing for him to return

It's hard to imagine Sony souring their relationship with Marvel by releasing a string of mediocre spinoffs, and how can Feige NOT be involved with them when he's helping to steer the 2017 Spider-Man movie? They'll take place in the same world after all, but if Sony do suddenly decide to release a Sinister Six movie without Spidey and a Venom movie from the chump who wrote The Amazing Spider-Man 2, perhaps we're getting a bit too excited too soon about this deal? Let's hope not!

Sony is making sure that everyone understands that Disney didn't get back Spidey cleanly. They still run the show, it's posturing and nothing more. Once Spider-Man from Marvel Studios/Sony is a hit, suddenly their tune will change.

Looks like they're definitely going the ultimate route with this Spider-Man since they're bringing him back to high school and I'm guessing SHEILD will play a major role in Spider-Man jointing the Avengers.

It'd be the easiest way to push him into the fold but it's not the first choice by a lot of folks. There is so much conflicting reports from various sites it'll be interesting once we see him in Civil War and get a grasp on the age and who will be playing him.

That's what I thought. Did you guys ever wish there were more Hispanic superheroes? I can't even think of one off the top of my head.

I'm of Hispanic decent and I've never pined for more Hispanic heroes because I saw the superheroes as more than just ethnicity, for me it'd be like clammering for Hispanic Greek Gods or Hispanic Vikings. It's all mythology for me. Miles is half Hispanic but I like him for his character not necessarily because he is of a certain culture.

Wouldn't a cool intro to Spider-man be after the end credits of age of Ultron the Avengers and Nick Fury are planning the next stage of the Avengers and are going through some possible members and they pull up Spidey's file. Stark makes a joke or two and Fury says Cap should take a look at him. Fade to black

Punisher, Dare Devil, would fit perfectly in a film with Spiderman. Especially the Punisher as a "villain".
