Yeah, after the 3rd round when Pac scored the knockdown and Mosley felt that power he checked out of the fight. I should've watched Salt on Starz instead. 
Agree. I am a huge pac supporter, but he was off his game tonight until Mosely pushed him down and he seemed to all of a sudden wake up from whatever funk he was in. Still a good fight though.

Glad Pacman got the win, but this means nothing really.. Mayweather-Pacquaio should materialize this year, or it will really never happen.
Both boxers should just sit down and talk about a realistic drug-testing scheme, include random doctors which they have no connection with in the meeting.. And make the fight happen!

It wasn't a surprise to me that PAC had fewer shots compared to other fighters. Other fighters, PAC has clear speed advantage over opponent but shane's bread and butter is speed and power like PAC. So PAC couldn't really carelessly constantly attack like others fights cause it was a risk. That's why mosely is getting criticized for not taking advantage of those risks. There's several times I saw that Shane could have attacked but was reluctant for fear of getting countered by pac.

Mosley was able to knock Floyd once in the second round. Mosley was not able to do that to Manny tonight.
Manny was able to knock Mosley twice.
Manny easily beat Mosley. Floyd struggled to beat Mosley.

The fight won't happen with PAC and mayweather cause may won't take a chance. I don't think he is scared oh him but he knows there's a big chance he could lose and he is not willing to take that risk. Manny has dismantled every fighter he has fought in the last couple of years.
This whole drug testing thing is just a ploy to make an excuse to not make the fight happen. To make the fight happen last time, PAC even agreed for testing 14/15 days before fight and immediately after the fight and may refused. PAC did not want to take the drug test just days before cause he felt he was taken advantage of on his last loss where they made him take a drug test days before the fight cause they supposedly lost his drug test sample. It wouldnt have been an issue but PAC was already drained for his weight cut which he felt it played a factor in his loss.
Basically right now, that is all that May can find as a weakness for PAC that's why he is making that excuse. There has never been Any question about PAC using drugs. He has always been the hardest working fighter in training, just like May. Basically, most fighters cut weight. PAC in this case is no longer cutting weight and is just fighting bigger guys. He's been around 140 for awhile and used to cut to make featherweight or lightweight. Now, he is just not cutting anymore and is essentially just taking on bigger guys cause PAC fights his best at this weight cause he has more power and hasnt lost the speed. The only one that can match that speed is May and he is not willing to take that risk.

^^^ Exactly, Remy.. The Floydiots always claim Gayweather is the best of the two fighters due to his unbeaten record.. but his opponents are 'pieces of cake' for him, and do not really pose a real threat to his unbeaten record.
We can all go on and on about who's the better fighter, but Manny just keeps accepting whoever boxer Top Rank Boxing signs for him to fight.. That's the professionalism - don't duck opponents. Accept a reasonable opponent (not a mismatch) and study his tactics to be able to win against him come fight night.

The best fighter is never the one who is unbeaten but the one who is willing to face the best fighters. That is what makes Muhammad Ali the greatest, he fought all the best fighters in his era. Same with sugar ray Leonard. In MMA; GSP, Anderson silva, etc. All these guys face the best in front of them. All of them have a loss in their record and that is because they are willing to step up and fight the best.
May has the tools to be the best, he can match PAC with speed, has an inexhaustible energy, has the best defense ever seen. The only question is that almost all his fights, he has always played it safe, he was always at the advantage.
May does have the tools to have an epic fight with PAC. Seriously, this fight can go eitherway but it's a huge risk for mayweather to step in the ring. This is a shame cause it is extremely rare when you have the 2 best fighters in the world and in the same division. It would suck if the fight would never happen.

Yeah, saw the topic earlier where he tweeted he's gonna watch lady gaga rather than watch this fight. He did the exact same thing on pac's previous fight, he said he was gonna watch something else than watch a boring fight. Lame. He's starting to repeat his jokes for having no interest in a PAC fight.

I totally agree with what you say. Id even go as far as to say technically floyd is the better boxer but manny is on top of his game and is the most dangerous fighter in boxing.
Floyd has always said he'd duck no one and with the amount of money on the table and probably more to add, I still think this fight will happen.

Bottom line, Mayweather isn't hungry anymore. He's filthy stinkying rich, healthy and ultimatley has nothing left to prove.
Mayweather has more to loose than gain by taking the fight, he could make another massive pay check, please boxing fans and cement his legacy, with a win, but why bother if its not important to him anymore. Unmotivated is not the way a fighter can step into the ring against what would be his biggest test.
Something will have to light that fire, that made him the best, and apparently a big pay check just isnt gonna do it anymore.
