The only voice that Kiefer Sutherland can do, is Kiefer Sutherland . He sounds exactly like Jack Bauer in the MGS V trailer. And Big Boss isn't supposed to sound like Bauer.

I couldn't care less how he decides to destroy his liver and his dignity, if he delivers a good performance.

His acting in the trailer were pretty meh. It's just Liquor money to him.

I believe 4 did.

6 killed the franchise completely.

Have you seen 24, or any of Sutherland's movies? He's really not an appropriate choice for Big Boss.

I have seen his older movies like Stand By Me and Lost Boys. Nothing that new, but his few lines I have heard sound good to me. And like I said, I am happy they are really making Big Boss his own character and not exactly like Solid Snake. Some people out there still think they are the same person.

Big Boss's characters has been established for almost 10 years with Hayter's voice. It's going to be weird hearing Sutherland, who isn't doing anything but playing the Sutherland voice as Big Boss. He's going to take a lot of people out of it.
