Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

They both have that bloated smug face so you're probably right. Koji is definitely the Lucas of gaming. Killed one of the most treasured franchises in gaming history with bull **** prequels.

The same people that are overhyped for MGS V probably pull their pudd to the Phantom Menace.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

The whole E3 trailer is basically saying it, unless Kojima is trolling that as well.

Big Boss is the good guy, Solid Snake is the bad guy and that's the way he wants it since Big Boss has become the center figure of the franchise.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

:dunno don't see it happening trailers are misleading u should know this .

Sure they are, I don’t think he will be shooting the african children, but I do think, he’s going to be taking a turn for the worst in this one. Seems pretty much to be the whole point of this game.

Having child soldiers is pretty much going to make him more evil.

It's a different time child soldiers is normal in certain parts of the world.:dunno

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Yeah the tired old dying man. Yeah, that's EXACTLY what fans wanted 7 years after MGS2. Koji wanted to write Snake out of the franchise immediately after MGS1.

He was trying to close out the franchise, I see nothing wrong with that. I personally loved Old Snake.

:exactly:

At the end of this game he's just going to be the misunderstood hero he's been in MGS4 while Snake will be setup in MG1 as the errand boy for the Patriots.

The franchise is over but he's backpedaling with these prequels that have no baring whatsoever on the future of the franchise aside from blatant retcons.

Normal doesn’t make it right, and its not normal where most of us are from.

What future of the franchise? I think he intended for that to be finished with in MGS4, now he’s doing some prequels to give a back story like a lot of other franchises do, I see nothing wrong with that.
