Yeah I know. Lots of shows and movies that I didn't watch.

You should have see the programmers faces when I told them I've never watched Star Wars. Think I'll just keep it this way and see how far I'll make into life without watching it.

I have never played all the Metal Gear games.

I've only played MGS2. That was in high school. MGS3. MGS4. My boyfriend offered to buy me the missing ones but I always said no.

Was tempted to play Peace Walker ( I know I know ) but I really don't like Ashley Wood's art.

Avoid it like the plague, it's awful. Plenty of guys here can back me up on that. Completely ruins any continuity with the rest of the series technology. It's so far more advanced in the 70s (when it's set) compared to stuff set in the 21st century

Plus you have a cast of characters that are pretty mediocre aside from Miller.

And to top it off you have singing robots >_>

Peace Walker is a fun MGS and the multiplayer is a blast, but as a story is hideous.

Yup.

Peace Walker just feels like an alternate universe in MGS. The tech is way too advanced, that it makes REX and RAY look like toaster ovens in comparison. It's best to avoid it completely and just watch the videos on YouTube.
