Possibly. I think many of the fans are too convinced that he's the only person who'd do a good job with directing the games, when he has tried multiple times in the past to pass the torch to other developers. I think he's be relieved if someone else from Konami can step in, to give him a much needed break.
And yeah, I want those MG remakes! That's the only thing that's keeping my interest going with this series.
I agree.. I don't think anyone can REALLY understand a vg series other than its father, I dunno I doubt anyone out there can do it better, specially now that we are flooded with retarded games like CoD and good games like TLOU come every once in a year

Even the Buzz Lightyear game was awesome and had great bits of writing and voice acting
