Exactly my point. I liked it as a gadget too. Did Snake get his Bandana from BB?

Probably not, as they are both different colors & the fact was never confirmed in any game. If he didn't, then Solid Snake's bandana was probably retconned as a homage to BB.

I think the same exact thing.

Big Boss trained Snake in CQC, so I'm sure Snake looked up to him so to commemorate him he wore it I guess.

I don't think the origins of it were never stated.

I'm sure it's original origin was retconned. I believe he just started wearing it as something he liked, than his look was cloned onto Big Boss and now were going to get some kind of passing down the birth right BS with a MG1 remake ughhhhh

That's what i'm thinking, He'll either just be wearing it, no explanation required (which is fine and probably for the better)

Or he'll not be wearing it until he acquires it from BB in MG1 in some really uninspiring way. I wouldn't surprise me if they went a similar route to how BB got his off the Boss

Y'know, the BB homage thing was one of those retcons that actually works, I'll give Kojima that. Although not canon, someone finally asked Snake the significance of his bandana in Ghost Babel, and IIRC Snake said he got it from someone special. Makes sense I guess.

Come to think of it, Holly wore one too. I wondered what happened to her anyway.

Well wasn't Iroquois Pliskin based on what he looked like in Outer Heaven? I mean the original cover image that they stole from Terminator's Kyle Reese wasn't wearing a Bandana. And in MG2 he wears like a green Bandana.

Yes i know, i highly doubt that if Kojima was to remake MG1 & 2 though, he would keep such things the same as the original. He'll obviously make the bandana Snake wears in MG2 the same as the one he wears in MGS

I was only speculating at how he's going to acquire it in MG2, which i assume will happen towards the end of MG1

There were a lot of references to MG1, 2 and MGS in Ghost Babel, considering it took place in former Outer Heaven. While the game might not be canon, it did implied that the whole thing was a simulated event for Raiden.

Regardless, Ghost Babel is great game, and Norihiko Hibino's music was superb. The guy will be missed.

I never cared that much for MGS2 Snake's look, it's just bland and uninteresting compared to every single other Snake, only Shinkawa can make him look mildly cool, but it's still overshadowed by the rest of the Snakes.

There were a lot of references to MG1, 2 and MGS in Ghost Babel, considering it took place in former Outer Heaven. While the game might not be canon, it did implied that the whole thing was a simulated event for Raiden.

Regardless, Ghost Babel is great game, and Norihiko Hibino's music was superb. The guy will be missed.

Oh man, I never played that game enough times, I did beat it twice, but I should have played it more, I need to buy another GBC just to play it again, like, now.

for me all of Solid Snake looks are on par with each other. MGS1 2 and 4 are awesome!

Never liked BigBoss looks as much, but his Peace Walker suit looks extremely bad *** in the MGSV trailers!

Maybe in terms of looks, but in badassness he rules over all.

Peace Walker was just awful on so many levels. As for Big Boss's redesign, it made him look more Asian compared to his appearance in MGS 3.
