What else would she be? She's dead, of course she would be a figment of BB's imagination :lol what he idealized of her, for all intends and purposes, her most abstract image, I see nothing wrong with that, because there's no way her character can be damaged by that.

Actually, I would rather some flash-backs of MGS 3 (with applicable voice overs), or some scenes that date back to Big Boss's days in training with The Boss. After all, there's so much about their history together that we don't know about. It would be nice to have that, instead of her showing up as a spook, or as some figment in Big Boss's mind.

I think that sounds really neat too! Cool idea Henry! I want serious topics in games, and can't wait to see how he handles them. If it turns out to be a dud, at least it might inspire others down the road to do a better job with the issue, or just expose people to new ideas.

I just hate bullies, and don't get why the same group of people who are into fictional heroes so much, are so cruel in real life. A lot of them are like, "I'm going to cut your head off and feed it to your baby, and rape you, but first I have to finish watching Spider-man help cheer up a little kid dying from cancer and risk his life for an old lady." It's ridiculous!

What are you talking about? :lol

Either could work, in fact, why not both, the thing is, with flash-backs you take the risks of having something retconned, and the Boss is one of the few pure characters left :lol

Combine them both into the Boss of War Christmas Past!

Well, there have been so many retcons already, I don't think Kojima cares about keeping things "pure" :lol.

I believe it was in the Peace Walker art book, but I remember reading from an official source that Chico eventually grows up and follows in the footsteps of his father as a Revolutionary. Now, just imagine if the Quiet-Chico theory turns out to be true...

I used "Spider-man," because I couldn't think of an exact Metal Gear example, but I've seen posts where people talk about how they want to do obscene stuff to Kojima, and then talk about the heroic nature of Solid Snake, like they have the best sense of nobility! Probably could have just said that, huh? That was a real example though!

Oh but the Chico theory was already been refuted, there's a YeeeooonnGGAaaa video where it's said by Stephanie Joosten is definitely a female.

That's what I mean, Kojima is not going out of his way to keep things coherent in continuity, hence why I prefer the Boss to be a spook.

Well, themes like those have been around for a while, with games like Heavy Rain, TLOU, and even Mass Effect to some regard. Case in point: Kojima isn't the pioneer that he makes himself out to be :lol. It'd be fine if he experimented with these serious undertones in a new IP. But, whenever I read new articles about what he has in store for MGS V, it just corroborates what I've been saying all along, that the game is straying so far away from the course of the series, that its practically unidentifiable as a MGS game. I think GZ was evidenced enough of that.

Thats not what I mean with serious, those are just good +17 games, plus... the fact that people whined so much over the Mass Effect sex scene show how childish the video game industry is.

Actually.... the people that make the real mess over this stuff are non games, ********* that show up in the news and talk about things they don't understand:

Big Boss will go nuts thats why I want that scene, it makes a lot of sense

Hmm... I'm actually not convinced by Stefanie's statement there. Now days, there's so much political correctness - that you have to refer to a transgender, based whatever Frankensteinian sex organs they have placed on their mutilated bodies :lol.

Or, perhaps Kojima's master plan got exposed, and now he's forced to change things around :lol.

I was thinking that, "yeah she's definitely a female..... who lived in man's body most of her life" :lol

Agreed! Some fanboys are cynical.

I like what you said though, even if TPP turns out to be a crap game (which won't happen), hopefully it inspires other developers to start creating mature games.

I hate the world we live in today.

Any of you guys ever got hit on by a tranny? It's really ****ed up. I'll tell you that.

Me, once, s/he was a hooker though, I was walking down the street at 4 in the morning back home from a party, and boom "tienes encendedor papi? (got a light honey)" on a thicker voice than mine :lol and then 2 more "Hola hermoso (Hey gorgeous)", eeeesh, I had never walked faster.

Nothing's wrong with being cynical. I've also seen some defenders of MGS V - well, one person in particular, who harassed David Hayter on Twitter and egged him on, that Kiefer took the role away from him.

Having a different opinion about something is just having an opinion. However, it speaks volumes about a person and their own lack of maturity, if they'd resort to making death threats, and harassing celebrities anonymously on the net.

The traps are much more deceiving in NYC :lol. Whenever you see a woman here, you've got to look for the tranny signs.. big hands, adams apples, deep voice. ****ing gross.
