I've got a bunch of MGS shirts from Uniqlo, but I'm never wearing any of them outside :lol. I figured I'd use them indoors if I'm doing a video log of some kind. Or, if there's some kind of game-related event. No-hoooo way I'm walking around wearing those in Manhattan...

I have a few myself, but the only one I wear is the Rising hoodie as it's amazingly comfy. (Kojima wears one in this pic)

That's what I figured :lol they're not very casual looking, plus they a bit busy for my taste, the ones above are more casual but those prices are raytarded.

We don't speak ill of the dead.. :lol

what is that girl doing with her lips? :lol That hoodie looks awesome though! I remember seeing some MGR shirts in my GameStop, I wish I bought them now...they were cheap but good quality

That's... her tongue :drool.

Mentioning clothes, guys, I'll take some shots of all my Uniqlo shirts and post them up in the collectibles thread. I don't think I've done it since I got some games signed.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain & Ground Zeroes

I wear a couple mgs shirts out and the gamestop rising one is one of them.

On a side note, heres a pic of a retro mgs design for one of the t shirts. Is rex in the new phantom pain game???

That actually looks pretty cool. And I think MGS V has a modified ZEKE, not REX. But, it's strange that they look so similar to each other.

I have to wonder if this power struggle between Kojima and Konami are in direct relation to MGS V's plot. If you think about it, there are so many odd undertones from the trailers that can give the impression.

First, Kojima was planning to exit back in 2008 with the conclusion of MGS 4, and it correlated with the graceful parting of Old Snake. But, now we've got a game (MGS V), where Big Boss is being hunted down by Zero. And now he's being called "Punished Snake", "Venom Snake". That said, I can certainly see how Kojima is being "punished", and how he'll have "venom" against the company that took away what was dear to him (e.g. stripping his name from advertisements, and renaming KojiPro to Konami Los Angeles Studio). Sort of like how Zero tried to erase Big Boss. Coincidence? :lol

I wouldn't go that far :lol

But who knows, he's been trying to move on from MGS since 2002... and now it's 2015. I wonder if he's actually happy he got terminated from the company. It won't, but I'd love to know the truth about what transpired.

We'll have to wait for the "In the Darkness of Konami" novel to come out.

One thing's for sure, with the NDA in place, we'll have to wait for news from an anonymous tip-off. Would be hilarious if it's from someone called "Deepthroat" :rotfl.

I figure he'll either have to form his own company or join up with another major publisher. Or else, he won't have the finance to develop games like before.

I'm not sure how it'll work out in Japan, and if whether another company would even want to invest in him at this point. He only has nine years left before the government forces him into mandatory retirement.

Kojima has long used his weird personal struggles/views in his games, MGS 4 being the most obvious example :lol I would not be surprised if this became the case with MGS V, or at least more prevalent.

I didn't read the whole thing, to me there are spoilers in there. That's why I never watched the gameplay trailer.

Nice not really spoilert at all. Infact the spoilers are in the title of the link.

Sounds awesome. They're saying after 7/8 hours they're only 4% in haha. If this game is massive as i think it might be, what will Konami do?
