Hey don't lump FIFA with CoD, FIFA requires skill :cuss:

They both require skill, they're both competitive. It's just that that type of gamer purely go for COD, Fifa, GTA. And maybe Assassins Creed and Mortal Kombat. You know "mainstream" gamers.

Most don't go outside of those franchises

Skill compared to play either FIFA or PES is 100X a different ballpark than, say COD.

But yeah, free on PS plus.... Why didn't I wait? I swear, I finished the damn thing and NEVER touched it again.

At least you can play it digitally now, don't have to get up to switch disks if you ever plan on playing it again :lol

Yeah, I love to go on a killing spree on GZ every now and then but the thought of changing discs always held me back. :lol

There are multiple disks for GZ? :lol I've only played the digital versions on PS3 and PC.

Nope :lol

But most of the time I already have disk in my system and I’m too lazy to put GZ in to mess around a little. Digital though I can see myself play once in a while to blow some time since I don’t have to get up and put the disk in.

Sorry, I meant that the thought of getting up to the CD cabinet, cracking open the jewel case and booting up a game that I only play 10-20 minutes tops is excruciating. :lol

On a side note, I absolutely LOVE killing everyone on the base as enemies don't respawn anymore unlike the older games. I usually massacre all of them whiwhch is the most fun thing to do in GZ IMO. :lol

Agreed. I really expected this generation to start giving out download codes with disk editions. Since the disk download everything to the hard drive anyway. I love digital but i also demand physical stuff!

I keep going back and forth on this subject... but I'm starting to not care about physical copies anymore. I'm probably going digital for Arkham Knight.

I was hoping for just a cool steelbook like Arkham City, but they only seem to have standard and two expensive collectors editions with statues i don't want.

Cool and simple:

Outside of MGSV CE (Since I've gotten every other CE of MGS in recent memory) I'm bailing on them entirely from now on. They always come with crap I never really bother with. The statues they always come with almost always suck.

Aside from the rare exceptions like The Witcher 3 Limited Edition (which came with a load of worthwhile physical goodies), I think most of the big box LEs can be ignored - including the MGS V LE. That robot arm is so uninspiring. The only reason I per-ordered it, was because it was selling out everywhere :pow. Oddly enough, it looks like it's going to be a rare LE.

I LOVE the Arkham steelbook.

Current gen physical games are a joke. Remember the manuals that use to came with PS1 games? They have not just instructions, but sometimes even character bios, tips, maps and artwork! I would bring those to school when I was a kid. Even the plastic and paper were of higher quality.

I've also started to switch over to Digital, but only for the games I know I'm going to want to keep. The games i'm not so sure about I buy disk so that I can get rid of it if I want to.

Those were the days. Physical is going downhill, nowadays you get a disk and an empty box.

I remember the days of PS1 and getting a FAT manual with it. Manuals became pamphlets in the earlier part of this decade, and now were not getting anything at all with some releases.

:exactly:

I think I look at manuals this way:

PS1/PS2 era: Companion piece.
PS3 era: Pamphlets.
PS4 era: Zip. Like us on Facebook!

I totally don't blame anyone for going digital nowadays. :lol
