Seems like some power-hungry idiot executives decided to restructure the company, and now Konami has completely misread their consumer base. Good! We'll be watching in hilarity as "Mobile First" fails along with their new, **** plans.

This is much better than the initial quotes I heard saying they're fully focusing on mobile first. His actual quote says they're working on mobile and console etc. so at least there's hope of more console titles still.

I get the idea, u remember Kojima even saying that doing the business and game side was too much. Maybe the problem is Kohima would had to have taken a pay cut of he was gonna be a full time creative..

Well, since they've gotten rid of KojiPro, it seems obvious that they intend to cut into their game development to fund this "Mobile First" initiative (which never existed before).

I'm just wondering, what kind of games are there to look forward to on the console end. More Pro Evolution Soccer? Reduced budget MGS games without KojiPro, or Kojima's oversight? No thank you.

Yeah that was the article I was referring to. The metal gear informer article expands on what he was saying including developing console titles.

I think they're gonna ignore all their IPs except metal gear, pro evo for their console games anyway. Maybe silent hill too, we'll see

To me, it sounds like a PR attempt to mitigate the backlash they've been facing. Are you seriously believing these guys? :lol Excluding MGS V, I think the years of quality-game development are behind Konami. And there hasn't been a good Silent Hill game in years. Kojima would've done something noteworthy with the franchise, but we know how that ended up...

I just realized the other day, how redundant PW, GZ and TPP are when we already know the ending of the series. Zero wins, Big Boss loses.

Skull Face may play a smaller role in MGSV: The Phantom Pain than we thought | Metal Gear Informer or James is just avoiding the questions. If not he has a really bad memory lol. Here's the video

It's amazing how in the comments some fans are trying to make it out as a conspiracy or that his inability to remember is part of something bigger. The dude's an actor, it was his job and nothing more. Stop sounding so disappointed that not everyone is taking is seriously. :lol

Just read that there's going to be credits after every mission in TPP, that's horrible, I feel like that's going to ruin a lot of the immersion.

Also one game tester who got to try the game out said the game is "meh", and compared it to the Assassin's Creed games.

I'm nervous.

I'm not really fond of the Peace Walker format for the campaign, I know Kojima is trying to make it feel like each mission is an episode but credits after every mission is a bit too much.

That's super lame.

Depending on how this turns out, I may cancel my pre-order for the LE.

I've also read that Skull Face wouldn't have a major role like we previously thought :lol. The voice actor, James Horan, said he was given a sparse amount lines for TPP. He also couldn't even remember his lines, or Kojima's name for that matter.

On another note, 24 has been renewed by Fox, so Kiefer can finally return to the series he loves. I'm not sure how many lines he was given in comparison to James Horan. But, I'm willing to bet that it wasn't a lot, either - especially if his limited performance in Ground Zeroes is anything to go by.
