As a 24 fan every time I hear Kiefers voice coming from BB it breaks the immersion. What were they thinking?

yeah, i was showing my mate the game for the first time. He's not particularly attached to the series but even he found it jarring. If Kiefer had at least emulated Hayters deep voice, or something but no. Hes doing a full Jack Bauer. I still reserve judgement until the full game, but they should have at least saluted Hayter in some way like in MGS4.

why be disrespectful to him, it makes no sense. At all. Especially this being the last Kojima game

A part of me just relishes in the irony of it all, though :lol. Kojima tried to erase Hayter from MGS, and now, Konami is erasing Kojima's legacy. They took his name off the game ads, and don't even want his name mentioned during interviews.

From what I've seen of the Sandbox gameplay in videos, Witcher 3 and GTA V have this game beat. It's nice to have an open world, but I don't think MGS V will be achieving any sort of technical mastery.

The horse looks freakin' boring, too. And I'm guessing that Konami couldn't afford to pay the Kief to say more lines than "hyah", while it's galloping. Compared to Witcher 3, where Geralt is constantly talking to Roach.

Have to say, I'm not really excited for this launch. I tried to keep my hopes up that something would change my mind. Maybe something spectacular is in store. Just maybe.

If Snake isn't in this as a cameo, it's just going to be MGS4 all over again for me. Really high end gameplay, with a story I don't care about.

It think I might have been spoiled by the level of detail in open-world design of Arkham Knight, where every inch is loaded with detail and the even buildings have see trough interiors! Compare to that, MGSV looks so barren and lifeless. I hope I'm wrong though.

Sterile is the right word for it. Sure the place is big, but how many sandbox games can you recall that are that... and there's nothing to do in them?

I just hope it's not a chore to play. Adding drivable vehicles and horses in a MGS game was never a feature anyone asked for except to fulfill Kojima's fantasy of that scrapped Project Ogre. :lol

He's advanced the players capabilities to where the enemies are severely outmatched...

Been thinking of replaying it just for the mods. It's strange... I really couldn't get a hang of the gameplay very well. I think the enemy awareness was just too high until it got boring.

I got all the trophies but about 87% completion and I do replay the game once in awhile just to blow things up. It's fun and all but I still believe this should have been $10 the most.
