You'll probably have to do a first playthough with the story alone, because usually, the extras are only unlocked only after you've beaten the game :lol.

Or at least some part of it but i'm pretty sure we'll have buddies from pretty early on in the story.

I think one of the Konami guys did an interview with Angry Joe and said there's no co-op.

I know you're not a fan of Yongyea but he his preview gives a lot of details about side ops. Supposedly there's a plenty of boss battles that are in the side ops that connect to the main story, Quiet is in one of them and supposedly she's a boss battle.

Ugh, no co-op? That was one of my favorite features from PW.

I'll guess... I'll check Yong out and keep the video sporadically on mute >___>

No co-op is surprising, it would pretty well. At least with Quiet...not sure about D-Dog...unless you can maul people as him :lol

Just imagine being on top of one of your friends and riding them... okay, that came out wrong.
Oh I should have seen this coming :rotfl damn it Solidus

this would probably be an option if Kazuhira Miller was a co-op partner

Doesn't surprise me, I don't think I can hate Konami any more than I already do :lol

Kojima will find a way and Yoji will most likely follow him, that's all I care about.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain & Ground Zeroes

Since I don't know what happened I can't really take sides, for all I know Kojima brought this on himself.

If Konami decides to reboot the series I'll definitely check it out before judging it. I wouldn't mind seeing someone else's vision of Metal Gear.

I'm just happy this is the ending of the main storyline. There's really no other story worth telling after this involving either Snake.

Kojima will certainly find work after this and hopefully he lands a job somewhere where he can actually make the games he wants to make.

The best comment I've seen on YouTube was, "What the hell did Kojima do, sleep with the President's daughter?" :lol.

Hopefully, a disgruntled ex-KojiPro employee will release an "In the Darkness of Konami: The Unofficial Truth" reveal on Reddit to tell us what really happened.

Unless Platinum releases more Rising games (and word is, that they are working on a sequel), I'm officially done with MGS after V. The very DNA of the series was constructed by KojiPro, and without their involvement, it'll be just another license brand for the soulless Konami mega-corp to milk. Just wait until we see some MGS mobile games, and gambling machines with pictures of Big Boss holding some poker chips.

But, yeah, a good thing to come out of all of this, is that Kojima's finally free to pursue other interests. I'd still love to see him make a horror game like Silent Hills.

I would honestly be surprised if they don't. I am sure they will be able to live on the funds MGSV will make them for a couple years but they don't even have anything in the pipeline people are talking about so I would be surprised if they live past this console generation generation. I see them being the THQ of this gen which is good because maybe Sony can buy their IPs at auction.
