Nope, just 6 missions after Chapter 1 and you're done with Chapter 2. The ending came out of nowhere, without any real buildup. After you beat it, go watch SuperBunnyHop's review.

The biggest disappointment from a legendary game designer.

Now this is a pretty good Easter egg (source : Neogaf)

Honestly, I feel the game should of had an Outer Heaven chapter set 10 years in the future. I hate the twist, but it would of made sense to see

the rise and fall of Venom. Maybe have the final boss Solid Snake.

Yeah, but it's pretty meaningless outside of two missions... and the final mission is just abruptly available (mission 46) without any lead up at all, and it's nothing but the replaying of an old mission with just two additional scenes. I'm not even exaggerating in the least either.

Yikes...i guess I'll keep my expectations in check...

I think it would've been enough to have a proper build up for the ending, no need to actually remake MG1 inside MGSV, because the ending does bring the franchise full circle as it is.

If anything, after MGSV a proper thing would've been to remake MG1 and 2 into MGS6.

Alright after platinum witcher 3 it's time to start MGS5. Just finished saving miller so far I'm liking the game.
My question is, when do I get to see quiet defile mother base couch?

Don't you find it scary that a few outlets that gave the game glowing reviews are beginning to point out what's wrong with this game? (No spoilers):

I really think Konami and Kojima should both be equally blamed. Konami I think gave them enough development time, but had hard working conditions... Kojima I think, mismanaged money and they ran out, which is why Konami fired him for blowing the budget. Who really knows... we can only guess.

I think something happened during that 40 hour Konami Bootcamp, as (correct me if I'm wrong) all reviews were outlandishly positive, yet there isn't a single fan who is totally content with the game.

There's no way the mission design and story that we got was the grand plan all along, but instead of wishful thinking of getting those cut content, why not focus on why the final product failed so spectacularly.

Like I said before, there are plenty of movies with essential content cut or grueling troubled productions. Take the original Robocop or Predator as a minor example. Those two movies were a genuine nightmare to make, things got so bad that the cast of both movies were trying to kill each other on a daily basis. Did it affected the final product? Not under a skilled director.

Tbh I would be perfectly content if they released a semblance of chapter 3 as dlc at this point, it would be low of Konami, yes, but it'd be better than nothing.

Fans already paid $80-$100 for the game. Remember, we had to pay for the prologue chapter for a premium price. No way am I letting them rob me again. :lol

But then there's the other half of professional reviewers who didn't attend the boot camp and gave it high scores too. Then there's the YouTube reviewers who are also giving it perfect scores. Remember not everyone is a diehard Metal Gear fan who sits on their computer refreshing websites everyday to find the latest news on MGSV or spend an entire day analyzing a 3 minute trailer. A lot of these guys aren't aware of potential missing content.

As long as the DLC is nothing like Arkham Knight's in content or price then, I would totally buy it. That DLC has to be the biggest ripoff I've seen in a long time.

I know right? But If they released "Chapter 3", would you honestly not buy it?

I would, I would curse them while giving them my money but I would.

I mean, everybody already hates Konami, why not one final douche act? It's not like their future mobile and gambling crowd is gonna care.

The only thing substantial this game is going to achieve, is just watering down the fanbase even more... and when we get a Konami made MGS, it will be even worse.
