Just finished watching Joe's Review. I didn't appreciate that he spoiled the ending, but I had it coming :lol. He reiterated all of the points that many of us have been pounding in the "Ground Zeros" poll thread - and that was pretty gratifying.

Whoever paid more than $5 for a demo is a moron with too much money under his armpits.

And after seeing in-game Kogima saying "what took you so long"... I dunno, it's too damn embarrassing to talk about MGS after this.

:goodpost: :duff:

Man, I feel bad for wanting to play GZ so bad :lol

:lol its a fun game, you don't have it yet?

GZ had just the right amount of gameplay to make you want to play Phantom Pain.

One thing I felt they really let down on, why was the assault, defense and destruction of mother base all just a cut scene? Why wasn't it at least a part playable? I mean, there's a side op of shooting from a helicopter so why was the motherbase defense not done like that?

The let down for me was the post credit scene... wh.. why.. I mean WHY!?..

I didn't like it... now I don't know what to expect for The Phantom Pain :gah:

btw, I'm listening to the entire soundtrack of MGS2 ... man.. that is good music. I'm liking MGS2 more and more :slap

Angry Joe's review :lol it has some spoilers though.

I like the guy and all, but I want to punch his mustache.

This was hilarious lol
I agree with his anger on this...

And if he is a first time MGS player, I can understand even more. I wouldn't recommend this at all unless you're super hardcore and need everything day one.

I Wouldn't Reccomend MGS4 to anyone at all as well "Unless you're an MGS Fan"...

same as this one, even though i enjoyed it

Did the main mission on Hard just there in 32mins with no kills. I only got Rank A mind because I retried a couple of times. Still yet to have died, curious as to what it's like but I sort of want to try and never die on this :lol

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that was a MGS fan. David Hayter? Nope, cardboard box? Nope, awesome complex multilayered story? Nope, codec convos? Sorta, what about the presence of a actual Metal Gear? Nope. Can I at least knock on walls and smoke cigarettes?

For the same amount of cash you'll get the Uncharted Dual Pack, which is (in case anyone missed it) some of the most thoroughly entertaining experiences last gen. :rock

I don't think any of those things are what makes Metal Gear as great as it is around the world. The gameplay is the best in the series, and most Metal Gear fans care about story first, gameplay second. Some things got taken out, And plenty of new features have been brought in. The only feature that should still be there is the wall knock. The infinite clip throwing goes against what Kojima is aiming for. Pretty dumb move there.

TPP might not have those features in either, and that game looks incredible.

I wouldn't recommend this game to any non fans, but to hardcore fans.
