A darker shade of red I would agree but not maroon. All the scenes people show to say its maroon are always very
scene specific where the light is washed out or dark. It really is more red than anything:

I don't mind the color & the proportions are already miles away better than the original mark 3. If there's gonna be some tweaking that needs to be done, it's the lack of or absent ab crunch.

Agreed. I canceled my po with bbts for this and now it's sold out. But I feel like once it's released, we'll see it in stock. Maybe price will decrease by then. This was/is the case for the first 3 diecast suits- all 3 are still available right?

I've been a bit more patient with pre-orders now as well, unless it's an EX. It is an Iron Man and an original armor that a lot of people want who missed out on, but there's a good chance it'll be back in stock due to cancellations and what not, as people will always find flaws with the final product :lol You always have Sideshow as a backup anyhow.

Same for me - I have made way to many costly mistakes with my purchases. Unless it is an exclusive I really want I will wait until the product comes out so I can see in hand pictures.

Yeah. Judging by the still available wm, ip & 42, this one will still be available for a long time. People also started cancelling this when 43 came out. Imagine when Hb & the rest of the Aou figure comes for PO? I like the Ex on this one too. I think the arc reactor case is a unique accesory & defines who ironman is!

I agree, the Ex on this one was a must. Starlord and this one have been the only exclusives recently I had to get. I am still debating on the 43 though.

Why do people really care if something is still available to buy or not??? Surely if you want one then buy one, after that WHO CARES!!! :dunno That's how I see it anyway..., they can make a million of each figure for all I care, I just want one & as long as I get a figure I'm happy. :)

Something being rare and collectible means the item has a better chance of holding/raising value over time, which is a nice caveat to some collectors.

I don't see this armor sticking around as long as the other three have once it's released. Especially if it turns out really well.

Availability. That's why. They brought up the other armors because this one is wait listed. (The ex version) so they are trying to gauge if the armor will be sold out at retail, thus meaning if they decide when it releases they do want it(as they may be waiting to see actual in hand photos/vid to see if it's still a figure they want) it will or won't be available. The only way to even make a guess is to look at past sales.

That's why people care. You need to remember and understand that not everyone thinks exactly like you and may have a different reason for a line of thought. And when you use the all caps and punctuation you did it signifies your basically screaming and taunting. If you do that you at least better be 100% right, and even then, I wouldn't do it much. Type like you are face to face. Would you have screamed that in someone's face? And you never know who the other person is. Could be a anybody from a serial killer to a priest to a navy seal to a U.S. marine to a teenage girl to a guy in ufc.

The use of capital letters was merely an emphasis to my question, no shouting involved as I can state what I'm saying face to face without shouting to anyone BUT (again with the emphasis), I'd not start shouting anyway when it comes to collectibles..., I appreciate your taking the time to share your thoughts though, it's always good to gain perspective & see what people think so thank you for that, I'm here to learn as well as have a chat. :)

It's not just the all caps...also the exclamation point. Twice. The combo. It wasn't a question mark.

Hi guys

Would the newest tony stark sculpt fit on this figure? As the sculpt doesn't have the neck like the mark Vii sculpt.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

I don't know for sure but it might not, the new diecast figure is actually smaller than the other suits for reasons unknown? So that might mean the head won't fit..., guess we won't know till it comes out though.
