I ordered it from SSC

Im honestly thinking about seeing if I can get mine transferred to another figure, maybe see about paying part of the balance for the 43 and then order the regular from a UK retailer.

May have to wait a little longer but would save many pounds towards other figures... hmmm, something to think about!

Really tempted for this, but the lack of ab articulation and BD parts is stopping me from smashing the PO button.

Also any guesses if we'll get a BD version at some point down the road?

I don't think we will in the near future. Only because they wanted to do the other 6 (of the first 7) in diecast

They could sell the BD plates separately as a kit. They seemed to have done it with the workshop accessories set.

hmmm doubt it :dunno This is fine as a standalone piece, If they were going to do BDMKIII pieces they would just do another figure
I really hope so because I want a MkIII since I don't have an IM in my collection  (blasphemy I know, though I do have the Mechanic Tony).

Why not just get the mk3 then?

That's what I'm currently deciding on. I would have loved to get this one for the EX (long-story short, I thought that Sideshow's delivery restrictions applied to my country with regards to this figure) but I'm not sure if I should get in line for the Wait List, and especially with this being MkIII, I'm just wondering about the chances that Wait List will even convert. Without the bonus item (yes I love it that much), I actually feel much less inclined to get this figure. I know it sounds silly how one accessory can change a person's view on a figure but I guess it's little things like that that makes us buy these figures.

EDIT - Ah screw it, I've decided to just wait and see what Civil War brings us. :lol

I can't wait to put the mark III in here!

Whatever happened to that other company's line of diecast Iron Man figures???- the company that showed us 56 prototypes but produced like two figures?? I FORGOT their name it's been so long since we heard anything from them...

I believe you are referring to King Arts, they specialize in 1:9 Diecast IM figures and 1:1 Avengers props...

I think he means Play Imaginative. BBTS just cancelled all my preorders for their diecast Iron Man products citing no word from them after numerous lengthy delays.

If you do decide to go for the EX again, drop me a line. Between this and the Marks 43/45, I may end up with one too many extra Iron Man figures on preorder.
