I occasionally have to remind myself how awesome this will be by looking at the same few pictures that have been out for a while now .... can't wait.

Man, its starting to look outdated...all the new armors are not helping it.
Don't get me wrong, I love it for what it represents...but still. This has to be released asap.
And, does anyone know what pieces are diecast?

I wouldn't call it outdated. Mark 3 is generally the suit you would go too if you were trying to have "the" Iron Man suit. It's simple and it gets the message across nicely. Timeless suit IMO. All the suits right now like the Mark 45 seem to be going for a more anatomical organic direction.

It looks amazing. And I mean all these suits released give us as buyers a plethora of choices. So many colourings, weaponry, designs... And me personally I love this design most. I was an Iron Man fan as a kid, collected a bunch of the comics. Mark 3 really reminds me of what I remember of iron man from when I was a kid. Also, of all the solo iron man movies released, the first one is by far the best in my opinion. I really didn't enjoy the 2nd or the third. And the only weird thing about that picture of the Mark 3 is that it ain't in our houses right now hahhaa! Cannot wait.

The Mark III was the perfect on-screen translation of Iron Man's armor from that era, I would hardly call it outdated.

Looks about right to me, some of the show posed ones from last year looked a little off because of the way the shoulders sat but that looks exactly like the one from the film, the only reason to say it looks weird to me is because of the proportion changes on the suits which came after as IV and VI were more streamlined versions.

The crotch line looks very toy like...big gap around a ball and socket joint. The MKIV/VI has a much more seamless look thanks to the rubber panties...

Still getting the MKIII though :)

I meant the figure, maybe the lighting is not helping...love the design of the suit. This is why I'm still keeping my order, its THE armor.
The price.
:pfft:

How does it look weird?

Might just be the angle of it but the head looks a little off, I'm not familiar with the armor itself or any of the specific details on it, but it just looks weird visually, like it's slightly elongated with a big forehead, but it just might be the angle...:lol
