This guy just $h!+$ all over the 45:lecture

It kind of does, doesn't it? As much as I like some elements of the 45's design it looks more like it belongs in Macross. Sometimes less really is more.

That made me smirk.......imo this is THE BEST IRON MAN ARMOR put on the big screen. MK7 is nice too but I'm not a fan of the silver parts. This MK3 = SEXY SAUCE.

For me, it's Mk II>Mk IV>Mk III.

Mk IV is absolutely the best red/gold suit in my opinion, a perfect design.

Yeah, that too. AoU was an uneven, bloated mess of a film. IM2 all over again - too many cooks stirring the broth.

Totally agree. It was tough for me because I really wanted to love it. One liners, unbelievable love story side plot, close up action shots. :slap

Hey I liked iron man 2. Lol

As for the armors the 6 is my fav. But I really like the 45. The movie story has no impact on how the armor looks.

I didn't mind Iron Man 2, it's just all the stuff that was crowbarred into the second act and parts of the third that ruined it. The beginning and ending are solid.

I actually thought AoU was worse in this regard. The first Avengers film, while I have a few nitpicks with it, has a laser-focused storyline that's not in any way cluttered, overcomplicated or burdened with pointless franchise-building. Its running time zips by, whereas AoU felt to me about twice as long as it actually was and horribly disjointed to boot.

Quality of source material does somewhat affect my liking of certain figures. I can get over this with Iron Man more than other films because I was always a fan of the comics, but honestly while some suits got stand-out moments even in films I didn't entirely enjoy (Iron Man 3), the 45 wasn't shown doing anything that even the humble Mk III couldn't have handled. Mediocre.
