Good eye! :clap I certainly didn't catch that before. Another reason to be excited about this figure. :yess:

As for the release date, HT provides shipping estimates by quarter, not by month, so Sideshow's estimates need not hold true. This figure has been sitting in the Q2-Q3 timeframe for a while (in Budget Stark's videos), so I'm fully prepared for it to be as late as September before it's available in HK (which is what OSR has on their calendar).

Yep. Sideshow tries to give a closer estimate becuase customers get upset by the large windows and send in questions about it. But hot toys doesn't give (generally) a month when it will come. Just a 4 month window. And right now and August release date in USA is still within the original window as you said. So there's no delay.

well, don't they give a three months window? Not to nitpick, but they usually say: "1st quarter of 2016" or so. We have 4 quarters, 12 months, that is three months in each quarter. So, wouldn't that be a 3-months window? Or did I miss something?

Sorry, nitpicking. How long from HK release to US release to EU release? Anyone knows?

I believe the general gap between HK and the US is about 6 weeks (give or take); the Mark 43 came out in HK sometime in April and I had my Sideshow ordered one ship out to the UK on the 23rd of May... A couple of UK retailers say their stock is arriving early to mid July but it all depends on who their supplier is and where on the priority list they are.

I love the "not to nitpick but let me nitpick" line.

Sorry I included the average outside of Hong Kong shipping time in the window. 3 months for a qrter, 1 for the average lag time for most collectors.

Yep, good catch! Can't find the video though, anyone have a link?

Not sure if anyone noticed this or if it has been brought up before but I noticed something in the video posted back on page 38 I think. On the back of the neck it looks like part is cut out to allow the head to swing all the way back to look straight up for a flying pose. View attachment 192607

Not much posability with that foot base... :lol , but that's exactly the way I'll be leaving my MkIII, and one day when I get the confidence I'll inject some more posing into my Mk43 with head sculpt..

It's possible to get some poses out of that base....Just got to be creative ha

One of only two videos I've seen online of the Mark 3 that aren't just HT promo shots (Budget Stark's is the other):

Thanks brother. :wink1: Wow, it looks amazing in that video, IMO, much better than even the proto pics.

Yeah, that base severely limits poseability, especially for those of us posing him with The Monger. But who needs a base if you're posing him with The Monger, right?

You're welcome! I've been watching that occasionally to psych myself up for this figure (mainly when I start thinking I should get the Mark 45 or 46 instead). And the music's so calming. :lol

:exactly: Who needs bases? But seriously, this with the Iron Monger would be a pretty nice display.

That's the thing I really don't like, still wish they were including a base like the ones with the AoU figures than the IM3 ones... not worried anymore as I decided a while back to have him in an all weapon deployed museum pose.

For my pose i was thinking with either his smart guns on his shoulders, or posing him with his forearm rocket. Hell maybe both :lol
With the weight of the diecast figures though that means posing him airborne is wasted, so having his flaps open is a no go.

I like the smart guns idea, love that part in the movie :clap
