If you watched Budget Stark's video, the upside is that this one's lighter than the usual DC figure (or at least the Mark 42), so you can worry a tiny bit less if you put it on a dynamic flight stand.

Well i cant remember who said it but they were right about the mini arc reactor accessory. Its the same one from the original with the Iron Man logo on it. I suppose i could paint over it.

Nope but there comparison pictures from the bloggers. I'm pretty sure we'll get a more lined up comparison by someone who picks the figure up.

The original Mark 3 looks as bad and odd as I remember.

The third of the three side by side is why I entered this hobby... anything less than that, they are expensive giant GI Joes to me.. I love having 3 dimensional versions of my favourite characters as they actors portray them. Pic 3 does that the best

OK, so:

- No ab articulation
- Shoulders don't extend

Those are both confirmed, now for the thing I need clarifying - does this figure at least have a waist swivel? I've found the Mk II AU gets by just fine by virtue of having one, even without the ab extension and ribcage joint.

I do feel as great as this figure looks, the price:diecast content:articulation ratio's poor. The metal content I can let slide but the lack of shoulder barrel joints might actually be a deal breaker if it doesn't at least swivel at the waist.

I really don't mind the no ab articulation. I don't re-pose my figures very much. I just love the armor. Glad to see it up and will very much enjoy having it in the collection.

That's actually severely disappointing. I would rather have had a lower waist swivel and no swappable section, to be honest. Also the gap between the shoulders and the body is seriously distracting and it looks like there's even less diecast than I initially thought.

I was getting very excited after seeing the pics on FB, thought I'd found the perfect classic red/gold Iron Man for my collection :dunno

Beautifully-made figure, though.

yeah after watching that vid it is a little disappointing, like why didn't they just give us the full deal if it was going to be able to come apart. Like give us a full ab crunch waist, the reveal waist and chest, then of course the swivel waist for the ground pose. That would have sealed the deal for everyone and make sense.

They were going for the look rather than the practical approach, that's my guess
