I can understand that if someone aims to own only one Iron Man, that they may want one with the most articulation.

As someone who collects the entire line though, the lack of ankle pivot/ab crunch is a non issue for me. Not every one of my armors needs to be in extreme poses, and this release looks gorgeous. Can't wait :)

This is my only suit. I mean i've had my fair share of MK's and have sold them all on, none come close to this guy on display, The richness of the red and how the gold looks it really stands out on display . Im going to grab an arc reactor sculpt at some point as its the closest to IM1 i think we'll see from a sculpt

The price of the MMS75 seems to be $400+ on eBay these days and that's with all the the faded colour problems that it has but hopefully the MMS256 will have none of that.

I ordered the Arc Reactor Creation Stark (not here yet), how easily do you think it would be to swap out the head onto the MkIII diecast figure?

Man, I just about had my mind set on the 43 but these two pics saved this. Looks absolutely fantastic in a standing pose and will look excellent next to Cap and Thor. Still don't like the lack of ankle movement, as that helps a lot with a natural looking standing pose but that pic shows it can be done. Might just get the 43 as well if it makes it to a discount.

Yeah man, just gotta play around with it and make it work. Mine's going in power pose so there's no need to worry about it as much (hopefully), but I'm sure you can make some nice dynamic poses with the stand holding him up, that's what I'd do. He's going with my "Avengers" collection as well. Still have nowhere to put TDK Thor and Avengers1 Cap so they're going together. Either that, or with my other Iron Men figures, even though I'm trying to get rid of them.

My Avengers lineup is pretty cobbled together, I don't care much for accuracy in that regard. LA Thor, AoU Cap, and this are my main 3. Might upgrade Thor to AoU version after he comes out.

I prefer the more solid red and gold of a traditional armor. While I like the 43, it's too "busy".

For those of you that may have received it, is the exclusive worth getting on the waitlist for or just go with the regular edition? I was thinking about getting one of these to display on the gantry I picked up last year. Thanks.

Thanks everybody. I'm sure a waitlist will convert but it doesn't sound like it's worth the wait just to get the ARC.

If the old one never sold for under $100 I wonder if this one will be the same. Outrageous price, but if someone wants to pay that for mine I won't stop them.
