Arc reactor sculpt looks awesome on this. I had to borrow hawkeye's neck post as it doesn't fit on the normal mark 3 post. I've just picked up a collar and another hawkeye neck post, as i've not seen another textured post for a while.

Looks like I'm getting charged Wednesday which means I should get this ( Ex Pack-Out) Thurs or Fri.

Then again, SSC uses UPS roulette, so it may never be delivered when it should.

Yup. I'd say this is the one to have IMO. This is my all time favorite armor. To have it in die cast is a huge bonus. I'm getting the MK 45 as well to represent a more modern look of iron man but this IS the classic I'll treasure most.

That looks great. I picked up that Tony Stark too and I am waiting on my Mk III on preorder. I'd love to be able to do this. I've not owned other IM figures before and haven't swapped out heads before so if you wouldn't mind helping out a newbie and sharing a picture of the parts you mentioned I would appreciate it. What exactly do you mean by "neck post" and "collar"?

Damn that looks amazing!! Great pic as always Stealth
:duff cheers bud

Got a pic of the bottom of the neck? I'd like to see the inside. I have one on watch on ebay for this already, but since yours is proven to work, I need to see if it's the same. Much appreciated.

Thanks. The one I was watching was a little bit different around the base of the neck. You just saved me the trouble of wasting money on the wrong one.
Thank you for that.

This is my Favorite armor so I'm biased. I love the simple design of the suit. Reminds me most of the comic book version of Iron Man (which I enjoy most over the MCU). Very classic and I think it would catch most viewers eyes over the busier more advanced IM armours.
Beyond design, this is the armour that started the craze of Robert Downey Jr. as the Iron Man. He's arguably the most popular of the Marvel Super heroes and has been featured in 5 movies. But it all started with the first and in most people's opinion best IM movie in which the Mark 3 was the armor that saved the day.
I understand...no ankle pivot, no ab articulation! But I am confident there are multiple multiple amazing static and dynamic poses I can get this figure into. Plus, I'm very happy that he can get safely and properly (anatomically) into the flight landing pose with the usage of the new torso twist piece.
It's a case of...if you want this Mark 3, love the movie and the design...don't let a few restrictions let you pass up on an awesome character. And heck, if you like the 43 get him as your "modern armor" and this as your classic.
My collection started with War Machine MK2 (IM3 version), and StarBoost. I will complete it when I get the Mark 3 and the 1/4 43. And that would be me done with IM.

I already own the first Mark III. And the battled damaged one. I like this one better though. And I have 43 too. I was thinking about keeping Mark 1 2.0 (I have 1.0 too), Mark III diecast, Mark VII since I have all the Avengers, and 43. All the rest I'll sell. I think I quit right before Hot Rod. Just too many. :(

Sounds like a good collection. Keep a war machine if you have one [emoji6]. At first all I wanted was a War Machine and an Iron Man. I started my collection with the WM MKII (which I absolutely love), got the StarBoost because the design blew me away. The MKIII will be my "Iron Man" I was initially wanting. But I couldn't resist a 1/4 scale IM. I love the 1/4 line and I've always said the complex design of the 43 will look amazing in that scale.

Hello everyone,

I've been on the fence with this figure AFTER I preordered it. I almost canceled my order tonight but decided to check out this forum. I'm SO glad I did. Appreciate the pics you all have taken. They are great pics and really show off the figure. Can't wait to get him now!

I do have a War Machine. I caught the Iron Man bug really bad and if it was just IM, that would be fine, but I have too many other things so I have to cut back. The debate for me now is getting rid of the Gray one, which is going for big bucks right now.
