Might be worth a shot to login to your SS account and view the order page, as sometimes there's a button there you need to click for early processing. They don't always send an email about it.

Thanks ... been logging in daily but haven't seen anything. Guess I'll just have to wait. The only time I ever got an early processing alert was for AOU Cap ... and the day they offered for early processing was a day later than my last payment was supposed to be...weird haha

Well, I've thought about it over night, and I'm going to either sell or try to trade this for the Mark 43. I only need one IM to put in my Avengers lineup, and as great as this looks I want one that fits more naturally into a group setting. I'll never display it alone, so the size will always be a noticeable issue.

I wanted this because it's classic, but I guess the 43 suits my needs more.

Don't forget, the Mark VII is always an option too if you're looking for an Avengers Iron Man. I do like the Mark XLIII more, but the Mark VII is the perfect combination of the classic look and the association with the Avengers. You can still find it pretty easily for a decent price (lowest price I've seen is $330-$340, which is the price I got mine.)

I just gotta say this is currently my third favorite Iron Man figure. The weight feels nice - diecast on the upper and lower legs, biceps and back of the upper torso armor. Not as heavy as the Mark 42, 43 or Iron Patriot/War Machine armors, but it's still substantial.

I don't get the disappointment over lack of waist articulation - it was never meant for that. With the inclusion of the interior torso details, it's just not possible. Even the lack of side-to-side pivot ankle articulation does not bother me and it's barely even noticeable. It's a beautifully proportioned figure with excellent paint and sculpted details (fine lines) which can still show off some really natural-looking poses. The removable pieces of armor, the inclusion of the twisted abdomen ground-punching piece, as well as the moveable flaps make up for any lack of articulation as long as you are comfortable with the intention of the figure. Once again, it just wasn't designed to do those things, but it's still a really nice figure.

What does bother me is one of the hip pieces was not attached when it arrived and I am currently looking at a replacement if possible.

Sorry, but I would disagree. BONES have more details everywhere than what you see on Mark III underneath the plastic chest and abdomen plates, but it has articulated abdominals. HT could have added that articulation if they wanted to. Those you call "details" didn't stop them from making the abs detachable, yeah? I'm more inclined that HT chose practicality and convenience, so they can do the construction version using the same mold.

Out of curiosity, how does that one look next to AOU Captain America? Just wondering about the scale.

Great looking figure. Not sure about the articulation yet. But it can get into some nice poses.

I shortened my Stealth Cap and raised my TDW Thor by swapping their ankle pegs. Much more accurate. But iron man still seems short.

The only thing I don't like about it is the chest armor and stand. If you want to put it in a flying pose the clamp has to rest under the chest armor which pushes it up and seems to want to bend it. So leaving it in that pose for a while will either pop the chest off or bend the armor. Neither option I'm willing to live with. So now I've got him in the "Make a move Reindeer Games" pose.

I was hoping to put him in a hover pose or flying pose but this stand will not allow either very well without damage. Not liking that at all. Not sure if I'm keeping it or returning and just stick with the Mark 45.

Out of pure curiosity, what is your number one and two Favorite IM armours if this is your third favorite?

I know I won't be bothered too much by the figures downsides. Love this armor and I'll get him in a nice display pose.

Got my processing soon email yesterday, said it would charge me on saturday and ship item soon. very excited for this figure

Finally opened this and love it...but the legs keep dropping on their own, seems like the tab is not clicking no matter how hard I push it in. Should I contact Sideshow? This is the first time I've had a problem with a figure...

I feel like each time I've had something supposedly scheduled to charge on the weekend, it didn't do so until Monday. Am I imagining that?

Opened Mark III, and I love it. I cant get the plastic off the foil part of the back flaps.

Yup. - just spent ages getting that damn plastic off - what a pain! Anyway have swapped the torso for the twisted one - thankfully without breaking any parts. Finally got a figure into something remotely resembling the landing pose! Doesn't feel quite as hefty as some of the other die cast figures but I'm happy to have a version of the Mark 3 as I started collecting way after the original version sold out.

Nice pics ... pretty sure the diecast armors aren't meant for flying poses due to their weight. So the 45 will have the same problem because I'm thinking it might be heavier.
