Yup, that's it. I have bought from them a bunch of times and never had any issues. I actually sent an email asking if that price is legit, because if it is, I am buying from them. I think it is a listing error. Ray gives price discounts, just not THAT low. Starlord is next to the IM MK III listing with the same price so I wonder if something happened.

However it turns out, let us know!

You shouldn't have emailed about the price. You should've just ordered it.

You should took a pic and hopefullythey were able to honor the price it was listed at first
Yeesh, people wiling to screw over a legitimate business over a simple mistake just to get a deal. At $218 they'd probably lose money on that sale, but hey **** the retailer am I right?

You sir have clearly never worked in retail. This is the anthem of the typical A-hole consumer. Do what ever it takes, *****, lie, steal, cheat, to get a few extra bucks off. I'm bitter, just got out of retail within the past few years, but this mentality does not surprise one bit. Everyone should be forced to work a service desk in retail for a while to learn some damn manners and to see how cheap they really sound.

If they were able to honor the first price listed, nothing wronged there. You are still buying the figure. Who's here trying not to get a deal? I'll choose to pay 218 over a 288$ price. If that thing was not honored and they found the mistake, then move on. I once bought a HCG 1:1 dark knight bust for 327$ with free shipping. Which on retail still on 800$ mark AMAZON price. So should i mail them and say the price is wrong? And return the bust?

I've worked in retail for 5 years with an independent business so I understand exactly how you feel. The amount of entitlement some people have never ceases to amaze me.

Just pre-ordered this. I missed out on the first 6 Marks (I only started collecting this year) so I'm hoping all of them get remade in diecast. I hope they fix the shade of red though. Everything else looks good from the photos. :)

Cool, I also started collecting this year and this was my 1st preorder for IM, I started here and now about to get the MK42 & Patriot armor all die-cast. I don't believe in a plastic ironman lol

I wasn't trying to start something over this. I was just trying to help fellow boardies out by telling them not to get their hopes up on that price as I have bought from them a bunch of times and have never seem prices discounted that low. Sorry.

The lack of ab-articulation is a potential bummer, but I was hoping to pose it similar to this scene:

I'm in the process of building-up my new condo. At least I can incorporate my displays into the interior design. This would look great next to my living room TV.

Best of luck with that, but this figure would look great anywhere :lol

Well that is one way to keep your iron man collection small.:)

Can't see die casts getting made much more in the future past the mark III. (perhaps II since it's the same armor, but we already had a re-release so is it really going to 3.0?)There are way too many die cast WM mark IIs and iron patriots sitting around in stock. If mark 42 has a rash of bad shoulders in the next month or so it will really be bad for the line as well.

I think if this sells well, then there's a good chance we will get the rest of the 6 armors re-made to diecast.

About the unsold WM II and IP figures, my personal take is that people aren't buying these because they made no real impact on the film. IMO none of the armors in IM3 stood out. None of them did anything really special or had a chance to stand-out in action other than the Mark XLII (which was frankly a POS armor in the film). IM3 wasn't a bad film, but it was a Stark-centric film and not really an Iron Man film. That's why in my case at least, I've skipped all the IM3 armors (for now).

The first 7 armors on the other hand all had some good moments in the previous films and all of them (except the Mark IV) were in action for a substantial amount of screen time. A remake of these has the potential to out-sell all of the IM3 armors based on how much the originals are now being sold (and bought) at eBay.

I had similar feelings until I bought a couple.

Now I have no problem buying a plastic IM.

I have a feeling that HT will release the 7 original Marks in die cast and a few select figures from future movies.

You would need a lot more then good ab-acrticulation to get it in this pose, the legs would not bend enough to get him that low.
