HT's V1 TDK Bats is on the floor in pieces because, quite frankly, I have no use for him and I was feeling destructive one day.

You took him apart or hit him with a hammer?

(if the latter) you could of sold him if you didn't want him.

I took him apart. I was going to use the body for something else, but in the process the damn right arm came off and gluing it back on won't work due to the nature of the break. Plus his utility belt is now on Medicom's TDK and the Bruce head is being used on my Takara Batman since it came with the harness and everything to recreate the pre-Bats outfit. It was an eyesore, but could easily be put back together on another body.

I suppose I could sell him, but I'd rather keep it around in case I want to do something with it in the future.

Looks epically magnificent!

Stood next to that V1, it's like chalk & cheese, night & day etc. So much better

It's pretty much the best batman figure ever made if not one of the best figures ever made.

Hot Toys continue to raise the bar and give us fantastic pieces.

I know it isn't official without in hand picks however, Ebay seller Tony Cheung has this listed as "In Stock" due next week. I know it isn't the gospel but he was correct with the recent releases of Silk, MJ and Wolverine.

Take it for what it's worth.

I saw that. Very, very cautiously optimistic but he was right about Jackson, Silk Spectre and Wolverine. Hope I have enough money left over after Christmas.

I was wondering what to do with my Hot Toys V1 TDK Batman and I might just try that. I hope removing the mouth part from the cowl won't be too much of a pain...at least if I mess up it's only the V1...

It is a little pricey, I may consider waiting until May. I waited for the Dlx Joker, it wasn't a big deal. I am more a Marvel fan.

Speaking of Marvel, did your Wolverine arrive yet? Mine was released from customs on the 14th and "in transit". It is taking longer to go across country than it did to go across the ocean.

Worse case you can pretend he placed the head on the table or something I really did not think I wanted to gut my precious HT but now that DX02 is completely revealed and pretty much out, my $200 V1 needs to be reinvented to be enjoyable again ...

Just curious, how people are saying why not own both if medicom has it's advantages. If the figure looks like the final production piece HT have just shown us, exactly what advantages does the medicom have over it, and what disadvantages would this one have? Considering you have to mod the crap out of the medi to get it looking anywhere near as screen accurate. I'm not a medicom hater, i really like their figure, just curious why people are saying it has 'something' on this?

The biggest thing (at least imo) is this is the first time we've been able to see the finished product right next to a figure we've all seen pics of and that some people own.

Compare the DX figure to the v.1 in this pic:

To the Medicom figure (which up to this point has been the one to beat) to the v.1 in this pic:

That's the best way to see how much smaller and closer in size the DX Batman is to the Medi figure, as opposed to the ginormous v.1 figure.

Plasmid, in your post, are you remarking HT improving the DX further from the initial prototype or just the improvement of DX over the original figure?

Regardles off accurracy or anything, I just love how much more attitude is present in the DX head, it really makes the v1 seem sort of muted emotional, which is insteretsing because in some photos you could make him look pissed off, I can't wait to see what I get with the DX.
