Yup, I loved that figure too, oddly, with all the better quality Kenner had over the years, I think that was the most accurrate and nice Batman pre-Begins that was put out with a movie. Heck, we even got Bob the Goon with those figures, only let down was a non-Nicholson looking Joker that was suppose to be him.

That has me thinking, c'mon HT, where's oure Batcave playset

I would actually spend the money though, like just the section where he stored the Begins suit, have that closet and a bit of the rock formation, I think it would be a really nice environment for display.

For some reason I am disappointed in this figure. I think it looks worst than the prototype and it looks 'cheap'.

In defense, the realism of HT figures often doesn't translate through photos. I remember when I got my Marcus Wright and John Connor figures and being blown away by them, they looked good in the early posted photos, but the subtle things and the finishes to things just didn't translate in photos and seeing them in hand was almost like a 180. Even DX Joker didn't look so great in some early photos.

crow.. is that a small studios repaint on the BR? if so.. Why is he on the V1? prefer the DX head? :]

The BR Joker? No, that's my repaint. I prefer the DX head overall, but the BR lends itself well to the messy look. Plus it was fun to do.

There have been a good amount of photos of this guy so far, but I haven't seen one that makes the PERS eyes look great.

Some of the eye positions combined with the angle of the head or photo just makes it look funny or weird. Need one that makes Batman looked like he's focused, and intent on kicking your ass.

There have also been a lack of close-ups of the eyes, in which you can see the detail and color. From a distance, the iris's of the eyes (unfortunately) look a solid black, which makes it look odd sometimes. Here's one in which you can see the eye color and blood vessels in the schlera:

Eyes often look dark, almost black depending on lighting, no matter the color unless they're a very light blue, that's something I find that plagues figures sometimes, they get painted with very light eyes but in the films the figure is based on, you rarely see true color and then it doesn't quite look like who it's supposed to be because you're not seeing the eyes the same as on screen.

i wonder if bbq from toy-world forums messed with the dx yet. he always has a knack to improve the past batmans be it medicom or hot toys.

He did. He put the Medicom TDK Batman wired cape on his and he put (I think!?) the Medicom neck OVER the DX neck to make it extra wide.

I only saw one person on here who liked it.

I think the eyes, much like the body, can be posed badly. The good and bad of poseable eyes.

I never pre order Hot Toys figures from Forbidden Planet or Play. Their prices are extortionate. They have Wolverine for 189.00 or something. I've got it ordered from ABCExpress for 110.00 all in...

I saw the DX Joker in Forbidden Planets Shaftesbury Avenue store last week.At £175.00 Disgusting!!
