Congrats, blakus! A word of advice...from studying the paint peeling pictures (say that three times fast) and the armor on mine, be careful with the edges of the armor, especially on the legs. It seems like, if you're even mildly rough with it, it's easy for the paint to start peeling at the edges.

To ChaserFan: There was a post here before about the giraffe neck but I forgot where it is, I heard the neck joint is so tight it has to be pushed in more. The sample pic you've shown is a result of the neck not completely pushed in the torso.

Yeah, I thought maybe the head or neck wasn't pushed down enough, cheers for that.

Thanks crow, yeah seems a non issue to me, i mean, i don't see how it could be peeling, it doesnt even look painted to me, rather, cast in that color. People must just be really rough with theirs.
Also for others worrying, mine has absolutely not a single issue. No peel, no lopsided cowl, no uneven face (that's just the camera, trust me) and the ears are fine. Although from some angles, you'd swear the whole head was george clooney LOL, i dunno, it's the big eyes i think. Just uploading some now, have some cool ones with my custom joker

I find even on film, there are times Bale looks like Clooney or even Kilmer, it's really weird but throw a bat cowl on those guys and at times it's hard to tell which it is

Yeah that's it hey, you can only really tell through the eyes and mouth, and since clooney has those big brown eyes, at times this often looks like him under there LOL
Btw, now that you guys are mentioning it, i see what you mean about the slanty head, just looking at my sonar head, it's not even noticeable, but it's not a production era, it's the way the head is sculpted

Oh yeah, I wasn't even trying to say it was a production error, but when you can see to the back of the head, you see much more neack, and because the neack doesn't curve into the base of the cowl like in the film, it looks like a long giraffe thing, but it really comes down to where his chin rests relative to the shoulders, if it were a real giraffe neck problem like Dutch, it would be that from angle, the head looks too high off the body, which isn't the case here, it's just when you see more of the neck, it seems like it might be too long.

Those with DX and v1, are the new DX necks slimmer than the v1 neck and the heads relatively the same size as the v1?

Nah not that, there's no giraffe neck period, it's identical to v1 or even better, because of the magnet, you can tip the head down further. But how people were saying the side of the cowl was flat and the other side was round, ie the whole thing looked slanty. i can see how they would say that, but it's nothing really. You can make it appear or dissappear in photos, it's just angle perception and being black and flat doesnt help it at all, in hand its mint!

cool for sure no lop sided cowl....? i cant believe it no really it can actually be the camera or lens WOW! there is hope hehehe no really that is Awesome no joke i am glad that it is not general but isolatedto a few bad mold curing issues

Ahh, well there were a couple photos posted where it definitely was a factory error, I had similar on my OC so it's no surprise, but I think people hit the panic button too hard worrying every figure had a problem. I don't think anything mass produced can have every unit come out flawless, that's why companies have return and exchange policies, ???? happens.

Those with DX and v1, are the new DX necks slimmer than the v1 neck and the heads relatively the same size as the v1?

I hope they made the DX heads a little bigger than the V1 because the V1 head was kinda small when standing next to a HT Joker or Two Face. I can tell it's undersized in 1/6 because even my Enterbay Mr. Bean, Medicom Indiana Jones or Sideshow Luke have the same head size as Joker and 2Face.

About the "warping" of the cowl: it's a fact that no human face/head is mathematically symmetrical, so when they poured Plaster of Paris on Bale's head to make a cowl, they ended up with an asymmetrical head mold from which sculptors based their cowl. So I guess there's a bit of realism there for having a little deformed DX head. Man, I'm overreaching, finding ways to justify the DX errors when I finally get it.

Trouble was, it's a 1/6 head without a cowl, but too small for a 1/6 head inside a cowl.

My DX is currently in paris making its way here. It managed to get from Hong Kong to paris by the next day and then spent about 4 days sat at the fedex place in paris. Grrr. Better be here soon.

PS Blakus i havent forgotten about you, lol. Still waiting for my DX joker to arrive. i'll let you know when its here.
