All the issues have forced me to wait for the DC Direct shipment of these. I'd rather wait longer, pay less, and get a figure that has a better chance of all the isses being sorted out. It's not like there is a lack of Batmans in my detolf at present, anyway.

Indeed, HT is now aware of the production flaws and promised the next (DC) batch will be better.

Indeed, HT is now aware of the production flaws and promised the next (DC) batch will be better.

Actually, the stated that the batches besides the initial HK/Toy Hunters batch that's in hand right now will be better, which means places like Toys2 that have the first wave coming should be better than this initial wave.

Thanks for letting us know your concerns. We have been looking into the DX Batman issues and following up with improvements. Please note that the first batch of DX Batman is only available in Hong Kong market and not all goods have such issues. Any HKG customers who require replacement, please kindly contact Toy Hunters directly. Overseas fans, please don’t worry much on this. Improvements will be made for the upcoming deliveries.

HT basically has 3 waves with Batman stuff.

Wave 1 - Toy Hunters / HK
Wave 2 - Non-HK Distributors
Wave 3 - DC Direct

Paint chipping/flaking/peeling off the armor.

Well its typical hot toys isnt it! The dx joker came out fine with no problems. Well mine didnt.
I hope my one does not come with these problems. Fingers crossed.

Every time I see new pics and coments about Barman DX more fears and concerns are appearing and increasing..I. mean : strange cowl angle, thin neck,paint peeling,shiny armor finished ??? , ugly legs shape (I like much more the V1 legs shape or DX prototye)...Man, I loved the prototype but the final version seems quite worse .....

I hope all my fears and concerns will vanish when my Batman dx arrives at home...

Yep, waiting for the DCD Release. As with anything, it takes a couple of runs to get the process worked out and QC high. Plus, getting it from DCD is cheaper.

I don't think they need extra runs to work out the kinks, I really believe they rushed the first wave to get it into Toy Hunters by Christmas and it's biting them in the ass.

There is one kink I see with this figure and probably it has been mentioned before but....the bicep armour is too short, it's half hidden in the shoulder armour pads! Now the V1 got it right, but why did they had to change it for the DX version. You know they perfect the errors of V1, and the ones that did not need to be perfected for example the bicep armour, gets changed into an error in the DX version. Hot toys are making me angry, they do great stuff but man do they eff up!!! Big time. Man I'm starting to get ill

That figure looks stunning
Just checked my latest tracking info and he's gonna be here tomorrow!! Can't wait to have this in-hand. Looking back at all the pics in here has me excited again now.
I'm not worried about any issues with it - no point worrying since I dont have it yet and theres a good chance there'll be nothing wrong anyway.
Snake and cr0w both seem impressed with their figures and to my eyes they both seem fine.
Tomorrow morning will bring back that excitement for me from when we first got the news he was out and the first in-hand pics too!
