It's a matter of respect towards the rest of the thread viewers. Quoting a post of 10 photos when only one is commented on just adds photos to a page dragging out the conversation needlessly. Quoting a post full of photos just after that intial post simply to say nice shots is also a waste, the pictures are right there.

It's a matter of responsibly using the features of the site to share information and opinions without hindering the experience for everyone else too.

So, some guy from Qtoys said that Chinese New Years is going to get in the way of Batch 2 deliveries? That's a bummer and being that it is Feb. 14 this year I guess it means that I won't get mine from Beijing until after the festivities...rats.

A picture of V1 body with PERS head and Gun holster

I went and bought two beat up V1 TDK's so I can use for posing the hell out of

FACT: The V1 body is much more posable than the DX, also the bicep armor i correct compared to DX, and of course the Bruce Wanye (C.Bale) head is there as well
SOo not sell your V1 keep it and have fun

Looks good. Cr0w also had photos of his V1 w/DX head and it looked nice. However, he left the cape off of his and opted to add the backpack to the V1, which I think is the better choice. Looks thinner that way.

But Retaane, why do you say the bicep armor on the DX is incorrect? Isn't it more of a problem with the shoulder pads being a bit too big/long?

I still love my V1. I'm going to use it for accessories when I get the DX. No matter how you look at it, it still looks like a beefed out steroid using Bale under there. Especially when you have a side by side photo of the two. The backpack seems to slim him down. Also, he's held up a lot better than expected and I've had him posed on my shelf not just standing straight.

I guess you can say that as well (to me the armor looks thin comapared to V1) bottom line is the movement is severly restricted with the DX arms thats all

While Buttmunch is my favorite mod becuase i've done deals with him and overall know him better, that was uncalled for. 2nd post and you do that, you've got some things to learn. MF is a good mod, sure not the best, but he does his job very well. You should treat mods with respect, and watch what you say bud.

I am sure this was just a cowardish attack by a regular as this account was likely created to just throw out an insult. There are plenty of idiots here but at least they are no cowards.

And to the rest. Of you who are recommending to keep V1 BASTARDS!!!! now you made me reconsider keeping that too!!!!!!

I sold my V1 a while back because I've never really liked the suit, but one thing I liked about it was the bulk - it makes Batman look really massive and intimidating, kind of like the body shape he has in Frank Miller's 'The Dark Knight Returns'.

I noticed that the oily residue on the ab armor is quite similar to an oily residue left by the rubber wheels of my Hot Wheels 12" 1966 Batmobile. I have it sitting on my audio rack & after sitting there for a period of time it leaves a small oily residue on the table top. The tires don't seem to show any signs of deterioration, and I really can't feel any oiliness coming from them either. I guess it just secretes it after time after some interaction with a non porous substance like the DX belt or the sealed tabletop of my audio rack. Didn't Hot Toys response to paint peeling make reference to a sealer not mixing properly with the suit paint? My main concern is that it might lead to deterioration of the suit after time if you keep trying to wipe it or rub it off, because, truth in point, it's really not noticeable under normal display conditions.
