The V1 has residue in the boots, to stop friction when they move against the rubber of the suit. My Takara Batman also has it around the gauntlet area, to stop them from rubbing against the suit at the elbows. Maybe it's on the DX for a reason.

managed to get a pretty decent photo today so I thought I'd share.

I also wanted to show the range of movement on the magnet head for anyone that might be interested in using it for a batpod display. i dont know about others, but mine can look pretty much straight up.

It's certainly possible. I've also noticed it around the crotch area...maybe to protect against the prongs of the stand perhaps...

Well, the primer/sealer I applied to the ab armor on mine did nothing...the "oil" still seeped through. So I scrubbed everything off the ab armor and applied a thin layer of black acrylic paint mixed with acrylic sealer and I'll just wipe the oil off from now on. It looks fine and I don't mind wiping it off once a day, it takes all of 10 seconds. I'm done screwing with it.

Still waiting to hear from Hot Toys on this issue.

Hey folks, just a quick question. Someone mentioned that the v1 has better articulation, anyone know if this is the case? I wanna get another body to display with the backpack cape and have crouched like the hong kong jump scene. Just wondered if this would be better with the v1 body.

Yes, that is the case due to the tight suit on DX

I only applied acrylic paint: First base black, and waited for the next day and the applied dark grey (black mixed with a little bit of white x 2 layers).and match perfectly in color, texture, opacity and appearance with the original paint.
Well the point is : I repainted the abdominal area on Wednesday and today, Sunday is ok and the oil has not turned to peer since then.

Have you been able to find the source of that oil, lubricant??... because I still do,nt
