The V1 doesn't shed its paint and pee itself like a baby.

I only applied acrylic paint: First base black, and waited for the next day and the applied dark grey (black mixed with a little bit of white x 2 layers).and match perfectly in color, texture, opacity and appearance with the original paint.
Well the point is : I repainted the abdominal area on Wednesday and today, Sunday is ok and the oil has not turned to peer since then.

Have you been able to find the source of that oil, lubricant??... because I still do,nt

I really have no idea. My best guess is it's some kind of oil that was applied to the rubber during the manufacturing process to keep it lubricated and soft to alleviate any cracking or deterioration. One thing I have noticed is it's only really affecting the area of the armor that is covered by or close to the belt, so it could be that the armor just can't "breathe", for lack of a better word, and it's causing it to sweat.

I used matte black acrylic paint and acrylic sealer, and the sealer lightens the paint and makes it about as shiny as the paint used on the suit, so it's almost a perfect match.

managed to get a pretty decent photo today so I thought I'd share.

I also wanted to show the range of movement on the magnet head for anyone that might be interested in using it for a batpod display. i dont know about others, but mine can look pretty much straight up.

Can you post pics of it on the batpod looking straight forward?

that's actually not what he said, he said that he's VERY familiar with my mother, MAUL ban this guy! JK. haha.

Hehe kind of, i teach some korean students here english, or rather sometimes help them, and they try to teach me a bit of korean too, although i find it very hard lol I just know a bit of the basics, and the general age/respect approach (although, it's hard to convey over the internet )

The new seems a perfect match with the v1 body. Anyone get the dlx version form toys2, any peeling or head problem?

Toys2's shipment has been delayed due to the QC issues and now apparently the Chinese New Year will be shutting down the factory and pushing things out more, looking like late February, early March now for Toys2.
