So is there anywhere at the moment with figures confirmed from a " so called fixed " batch that are still for sale ?.

These problems have put me off of buying one so far. I think abc express usually get late batches so I'm thinking of using them. I should shoot them an email.

Tip: If you iron the Cape it drapes nicely on the body and does not touch the base

i never had any problems with the v1 cape, just the awkward body shape that ever bothered me.

Toys2's shipment has been delayed due to the QC issues and now apparently the Chinese New Year will be shutting down the factory and pushing things out more, looking like late February, early March now for Toys2.

All for the best then. I'm still glad mine never shipped. It would be an awful experience getting a lovely collectible box like that to then having to send it back or break bits for new parts and so on.

This is why it shouldn't have been released in 09 from the start. If they stuck to their guns and released it late February when it was originally planned or at least that is the date (ActionHQ 02/26/2010) has had all this time it wouldn't have been a mess and end up putting people off.

I know the pot belly affect in the midsection
but over all has much more posing capacity compared to the DX body due to the tight suit on it

Sadly, Batch 2 was probably going to come out right about then, when sellers were saying so, Toys2 was Jan/Feb all along and would have been that until the mess, and I have a feeling Batch 2 was actually on correct time schedule, but because of the mess with Batch 1 being rushed, now extra measures are being taken with Batch 2, possibly unnecessary, that run could be fine and just being extra checked for all we know.

think the pers head does not goes well with v1 body after all... the head is too small for that huge body..

I think how well these heads work with the v1 body will come down to seeing the effect in hand and might need a balance of viewing angle, pose, and cape or no cape to make it work.

It looks fine in crow's shots.

One thing I learned with Sideshow's Darth Vader, sometimes a head can look really out of proportion to the body in photos the way the camera interprets it, but the human eye's perception doesn't pick up on it. In a lot of photos the Vader head can look really puny to the body, but to my own eye, I never see it look like the photos depict it.

Photos can make things look really good or really bad, but they can't mimic the human eye experience, a lens and an eye, sadly, just don't work the same.

That gun holster is still atrocious. I mean just look at it. Look how far away it is from the body/belt and how high it is. Draw you dirty varmints!

I'm still surprised so many people have still not done what Magnuz had done way back. A black wire tie you always get with computer cables/peripherals. It's the most easiest thing to mod and hang that gives a proper representation to how it was in the movie.

That thing is completely inaccurate it's not even funny. It's like the attempt you'd get from someone that saw a quick glimpse of it from the film and guessed how it hung. Or a hobbyist's first ever quick attempt.

Does the holster fit on both belts? I don't think it would look too bad on the belt that is outfitted with the small containers and cannisters -- those should help hide the gap between the belt and the gun.

I need a pic that will definitively show whether the pegs are like the older TDK V1 pegs or the newer DX Joker pegs.

I would've assumed they're using the newer pegs, but an Ebay seller has what look like some old-style pegs for sale, listed as DX 02 Batman pegs. I need some old-style pegs for my TDK V1 but cannot find any - but if it turns out the extra DX 02 pegs are the old-style pegs that I need, then I'll just wait until my DX Batman comes.

The wrist pegs on Batman DX are old-style the pin that conects with hand is wider,like the old figures.Therefore NOT newer pegs

BUT, do the hands come on and off them more easily than v1?

The old style pegs, depending on the hand, were as easy to take hands on and off of as new hands, and even some hands on the new pegs aren't easy to swap, like DX Joker.

V1 has older pegs too, but I cant tell you if they come on and off more easily than DX version because I only have Batman Dx.

I would say that Batman Dx hands are easier to remove than Joker DX hands..Neverthless,I found some hands on Batman Dx harder than others.

I cant understand why HT still provide old pegs style instead of the newer ones

I just receieved mine, but the figure is unbalanced and it has following problems as the one below. Sonar head is fine. But neck and shoulder part are the problems. Should I contact the seller or the hot toys?
I bought this on ebay all the way from Hong Kong.

Ok here are pics of the defects on my figure I had recieved today. The first batch defect batmans!! So guys, your not the only one who has problems with their bats.

Well, I'm still waiting for Hot Toys to get back with me about my armor issue, so you could send them an e-mail, but don't expect anything to come of it for a while.

Thanks Maulfan. In the past, Toys2 will get the shipment around one month after the figure has been released in Hong Kong. Some Us seller already received some dlx version without any problem, that what I heard from other forum.

I just got mine. It's really awesome figure, but I found some problems. The right shoulder is higher than left shoulder which means its not balanced. The neck part on the back armor is twisted.
