Doubt it. MaulFan, among others I believe, got his replacement from HT from this batch, and I've heard absolutely nothing about any oil issues arising from the corrected ones.

i have the new fig as well and have no problems with it. Is the stomach getting oily

The one I have caming with the chest plate like hard plastic the pants or legs when you grab the figure you can feel the oil inside and go to boots (inside) when you take the boots out you see all the oil.

So the rubber "pants" are leaking oil from the inside, and it's collecting in the boots? As far as the exterior goes, is it covering the entire leg or just the "mesh" parts beneath the armor plates?

The reason I ask this is the "mesh" parts beneath the armor plates has a shiny look to it which fades over time in my experience. It could be some sort of lubricant they use in the rubber, and maybe yours wasn't cured properly so it's leaking now. I had the first release which had leaky abs and never encountered anything but those, and my second release, which I got Friday, isn't leaking anything at all.

It's possible you just got a bad one.

You can feel the oil is cover all the inside legs.

Sounds to me like, as pointed out in the other thread, it could be that they just oiled up the body a little too much before they put the suit on. My advice would be to just take the boots off and drain it, then keep an eye on it for a little while.

Please substantiate this nonsense with facts rather than your inaccurate hypothesis.

(1) If you truly believed this is "nonsense", then why on earth would you be willing to discuss it further unless deep down a part of you knows that there is truth to it.

(2) you have unwittingly checkmated your self with your demands for "facts" for what you admit is just an educated guess (i.e. hypothesis). My belief about the DX Batman ending up in short supply comes from a series of simple observations that have lead me to my conclusion. DX Joker FINALLY started to sell out a few days ago at certain stores. This took a whooping 7 months! DX Bats took a mear single day.

Yes Batman has always been more popular than Joker & other DC characters. But still.......SOLD OUT IN ONE FRIGGIN DAY!!!!! dude its clear to me the fig is gonna be in short supply in the next couple of months.

Oh yeah & (3), due to the fact that my HYPOTHESIS is predicated all on the flaking buying nature of the high end collector, facts fly out the window faster than the laws of physics when studying the Quantom Universe. You never whats gonna happed.

Won't happen. He does this with every figure he buys. Everything he gets is going to "SKYROCKET!!!!1!1!" in value and be just super rare in his little fantasy world.

Gee crow, seeing as how I allegedly do this so often would YOU care to post a few links or FACT indicating that I do this WITH EVERY FIGURE I get, hmmmm.

Guys don't you get it!! What he's trying to say is V2 is now showing signs of defective oil! So it can now be assumed that no matter which batch you get (hard plastic or soft rubber abs) there is no guarantee the fig will be oil free.

S.O.B!! Looks like we got our very own version of the Gulf BP oil disaster

BAD NEWS!!!! the DX2 TDK I have this Friday 04 from CSC have the hard plastic chest or armor up ofthe body my figure was in he's stand for two days few minuts ago I was in collectors room and check my figure and I see the lower part of the body all cover with like oil when a touch the figure I feel the boots all loose for the all oil the inside body was cover, what I can do?

Lobox doesn't mention anything about it being DCD batch. Lobox, like Raymond says can you please tell us if your DX has the hard plate abs or the soft. If it is the soft then you have the pre-dcd release. If you have the hard ab plates then you need to wipe away the oil then see if it comes back. Then if it does then we need to all worry.

Ray,my DX TDK is with hard plastic stomach, the new batch, I get this from CORNERSTORECOMICS last Friday.

It's just not possible for plastic to seep oil or oil to penetrate it.

The worst case for that to happen is, the plastic divider is missing below the suit and the rubber top to rubber pants is in contact so oil is seeping around the plastic plates. So then it looks as if the plates are oozing. Fluid will always take the easiest route.

Please, I need some advice.

Call Corner Store and tell them you have this problem. If your English is that bad then at least send them an email. The sooner they know the better of you will be. They may have answers for you or may be able to switch you out. Even if they cant they may be able to give you your money back and you can pick him up some where else before they are all gone.
