After seeing those pics, no way am I getting the Medicom. I don't care if he is a little bulky anymore.

LoL! The hypocrisy is amazing. What about all your analyzing in the past how it was thin and it's totally different to the old figure, everything was changed, now it's just thrown out the window. Now, as some had put it buffman is beautiful! ¬_¬

I don't know if my eyes are deceiving me or due to the lack of sleep but in this pic, the body/suit does appear to be slimmer?

i think his shoulders are smaller and because he dosent have the cape on there is an illusion of it being even thinner than it really is

its probably has been thinned down but perhaps not as much as we would all like

the headsculpts look great tho..just not too keen on that open mouth yet

But it makes me really sad, was really hoping for the ULTIMATE perfect batman figure from HT...

O eeee... I feel your pain )))

ALSO! HT rubber on all their batman's is a little bit sticky and it catch a lot of dust even inside the shelf. In this case I prefer Medi DKB coz he is really smooth and firm.
But I still love my HT Origin, he's great even in this sticky suit!

I'm gutted there wont be any carbon kevlar details on the suit. Arms/ribs/side of the legs and knees. If they are remaining to use this cheap looking silvery paint on the abs and ribs. Thats pathetic if they do. That alone would make distinctive looks compared to v1.

As there is 0, zero carbon on the legs.

Still..... 6 months is a long way away.

totally agree... I love your repaint of your medi

the dx suit just isnt different enough from the v1 to warrant a whole new fig

they shud sell new headsculpts so we can simply upgrade those

Was tempted to get one and have some 'Rismo-magic' applied to it before the new toy show pics, (always tend to prefer 'store display type' pics to HT specs), but think the HT looks a solid figure here. Plus, will only want one Bats in my collection and with all the great announcements of late, not going to have much spare cash!

Are there pics of yours in the Medi thread?

I wouldn't say it rules, it is a lot better in some aspects but there still is things on it that bugs me about it. The somewhat Arnie pecks, the shoulders, the orange belt, the missing V from the cape and how the cape sits around the neck. I'm still reluctant to take that off currently. Some details missing on the back of the neck even though it's minor.

The thing is PERS is a notch ahead of the Medicom. As is the accessories.

HT V1 feels like a rip off now if this is *supposedly* whats happening. As if we had been taken advantage of. I could have waited to get these new heads and accessories. Though... How were we suppose to know a DX line was coming?...

It's just so sad if this is the outcome. It feels like a somewhat no no win situation.

The DX only selling point for me are the interchangeable faces! Proportions wise, I think Medicom still has the upper hand.

Would be interesting to see if I can match & match both figures together....hmm...

Thanks, I am happy with it. I do plan on having somebody that can do some mods such as the belt, maybe head paint etc.

Have not taken any yet. I have a crappy 5 mega pix camera that I usually only use when selling stuff.
I really need to stop buying so many dang figs and start buying detolfs and a new camera!

Totally agree. SUCKS alot if that's the case...... If you see the real figure in person ... it really would disappoint u if this is the final version ... .

I don't think that it's the case that there's no new body. There was the suggestion that in one of the magazine pics they had used the MMS armour because the new one wasn't ready/available/whatever (from memory it was the one with the red background?) This has somehow been translated to "every picture shown is the old MMS armour", which isn't the case.

That said, if your complaint is about the underlying TT that they're using, I think it's important to realise that even with the DX lines it's impractical to build a new body specifically for each character - look at how much doing that added to the cost of the pretty accessory-lite Wolverine - and there is always going to have to be some use of standard base parts. Medicom at least was probably able to rationalise the cost of a new body by saying that they need to respond to the constant scale complaints and build a new, taller body that they can use for multiple characters. HT has already built a narrow-shouldered armour body for TDK Batman and it would be very, possibly prohibitively, expensive to completely retool it yet again.

The main issue I have with the V1 is that it looks like a rubber body suit. I want a new suit that looks like armour attached to an undersuit, like in the film. A new gun and headsculpt are not enough to get me to fork out the dough for a DX.
