Why is the Batman DX $199.99 at BBTS, when the Joker DX is $164.99? The Joker comes with two full costumes, two heads and accessories. The Batman comes with less and costs $35 more? I don't get it. Is the price expected to drop in-line with the Joker?

The BBTS listing does have sort of a disclaimer that says that the price "may" go down, I'm guessing they're waiting to confirm that DCD will carry it too (which is pretty likely, considering they've carried everything other than OC Bats). So, I'd say it's probably going to go down.
I ordered with them, 'cause they're pretty reliable, and they allow you to cancel without a penalty (y'know, just in case this economy gets even worse

BBTS is shady with pricing, I'm not a fan of them in that regard.

Yeah, I think that's how they offset the possible cost of not having a penalty for cancelling preorders. Consistently, their prices seem to be on the higher end.
I used to order from CSC, but my credit card info got jacked from their system, and I had to waste a bunch of time fixing what some loser did to my credit. Besides, living in CA, I get charged sales tax if I order from them (they're based in Anaheim), so it's kind of a wash between them and BBTS, ultimately.

The good thing about BBTS being all over the place with preorder prices is if you get in when they have a low price your set. I had a pre-order for the Joker DX for $145. I ended up cancelling as I didn't really need it but when I preordered I made sure with them that they would honor that price.

The number one thing that pisses me off about this figure is the gauntlet blades. They're not retractable and they certainly don't shoot. You would think HT could have worked some kind of spring loaded action in there. What kind of crap is HT pushing at us.

Darn! That's a great looking figure, finally he worked on his belly. Wish I could buy it, but I have sell my old one first to get some money for it. One minor complaint though, it doesn't have a Bruce Wayne head, that would have made it complete imo.

Well only store I ever bought from was Toys2.net, so I can say for sure that you'll get your item within reasonable time. Since they are located in Canada and I too reside within the country, it only took two days to get mine through regular post. Communication and Packaging is fine too.

I order from them all the time too and I'm in Chicago. Just to give you an example: They shipped me Iron Man Mark I on Monday and UPS is already gonna deliver him tomorrow. Their parcels go through Detroit first, so I'm sure you'd get your orders a day sooner than I would.

Maybe that's the explanation. I'm only interested in the DCD version. Patience is a virtue. I'll wait until they post the less expensive DCD variety before ordering.

Went out and grabbed a copy of MILK magazine to see exactly what was talked about in the article. I know Eddie asked the CEO of Hot Toys but I trust what the magazine says. The article probably mentioned 5-6 times that the suit was not final and that the suit shown was the old suit. The head, body (slim body), chest piece, and accessories are new.

How soon after the first releases do these DCD shipments arrive? Are they specific to a certain dealer or I can find them at Toys2 also? Just curious though, why are they cheaper in the first place?
