Those figures look posed different to what Eddie took. Most people never pose these things right for display pieces. It has been said many times before, a bad pose can make any figure look cheesy.

Man, there is no pleasing you spoiled brats.

Who's a brat? I stated the only minor issue I have with the figure in those specific images, then went on to say I think the figure is immense, which I do. I know for one I am pleased with the figure and am not a brat.

I'm not mithered...it's just silly, man. I'd much rather read through people's opinions on the figure, whether bad or not, and all the nit picking, than name calling etc.

Went out and grabbed a copy of MILK magazine to see exactly what was talked about in the article. I know Eddie asked the CEO of Hot Toys but I trust what the magazine says. The article probably mentioned 5-6 times that the suit was not final and that the suit shown was the old suit. The head, body (slim body), chest piece, and accessories are new.

Did HT not see that guy shed blood trying to slim down their first attempt at the figure

On the capeless Batman - second pic - you can see the belt almost slipping down and underneath the joint of the rubber suit?

I may be wrong but it does remind me of the V1. Everything else looks great though

Doesn't help that it looks like he has push-up bra.

It looks very clunky.

Has Wookster asked HT about the suit?

Biggest issue in those pictures for me is the size of his arms. Otherwise, I'm in love with it. Immense.

I have already told you guys a few pages back when you see the REAL THING it looks damn chunky. Well these are STILL the pics.. if this is on display at SDCC and you guys could go.. just go see it and you will know the suit is NO DIFFERENT than V.1 (except the chest piece which has been modified).

Well if you are that easily pleased go buy your mattels. Firstly, you'll have to see what kind of $$ you are paying what kind of product you are looking at here. If it were a mattel figure, do you think we will give so much comments on serious issues and not minor ones? Heck, we won't even care!

Seriously though, you do know that it's one year after the movie's release, and with a half-assed co. like Medicom could produce a better looking suit overall, wouldn't YOU be a lil bit worried when they have got ALL the reference materials they needed, and they STILL managed to make a big bulky bats with a rubbery looking suit? Again, I would like to stress I am pointing out the OBVIOUS problems and not the minor one.

And Btw, OF COURSE I love the extras that come with it.. they are SO VERY COOL. BUT also remember it's the figure itself that matters the most.... NOT JUST THE headsculpt. The body problem desperately needs to be solved. Or else, it really doesn't deserve the DX tag.

Yeah his physique looks in proportion and quite realistic, but for a fat guy, and not a guy who's jumping over the roofs and beating some guys up.

When I see his body and the expression of the right figure, it looks like he is totally out of breath after running a way of 10 meters...

ok then .... nevermind ... then it's totally a matter of pereception.. What I can say and I think you might agree is that it's body doesnt look like the stills in picture at all .... i.e. .. it's much fatter.... =.=

Completely agree. But you have to realize that there is no satisfying some people, and to some extent, they are right in their criticism. I don't believe perfection is attainable with these kinds of figures, or even with statues, but even if you were to take the very suit Bale was wearing for TDK and put it for sale without specifying that it IS the very suit used for the movie, you'd still have people arguing that it's not movie-accurate and pointing out flaws that ultimately just aren't there. Can you imagine what would happen if comic movies were left in the hands of fans? We'd never get one made because no one would ever agree on anything.

At first he looked a little bit fat to me but later I come to realise it's actually the camera angle that it's taken. He's a lot slimmer than the old one, believe me. Glad I preordered this.
