Do we think that the heads (normal and sonar head) will fit on the HT Dark Knight v1 suit?

If so, I think I'll keep mine, so that I can display him both with and without the sonar head...

Normally, I'd say yes, but for some reason, the HT Iron Man figures use a slightly larger ball joint for the heads and if they use this same method to do the Sonar eyes and the same ball joint, the heads may not fit well on the first figure.

Pipe dream but it would be nice if HT recognized people who own the v.1 want this display option so like the Tony Stark suit (that came with a larger neck post) maybe they could throw in a neck adapter.

I'm not quite sure why the Iron Man ones are the size they are, they're bigger enough a standard ball joint doesn't fit perfectly into the heads, but not so big it won't connect, it's almost like 1/8 inch differnce, very minimal.

MaulFan... MaulFan... Oh how I love yeah bro. It doesn't matter if they showcase it at SDCC. They haven't solicited the DX 02 - TDK - Batman on their website or in Previews. Before that happens, all we have is pictures from their SDCC booth. Can't order what can't be ordered. Just wondering what is taking so long.

I would go the toys2.net route since they are Canadian, but my LCS would be the cheapest route to order from.

Well I just can't imagine what they're waiting for, having it at their SDCC booth to me says they're going to sell it otherwise they wouldn't show it off, but why not have it up for order, he's been up for awhile elsewhere.

the gun, the packback thingy, the alternate lens head is cool, but the regular non-lens head.....that GODawful pouty look, ummmm WTF? looks terrible. i know its supposed to be different but man, that pouty look is stupid. i much prefer the regular one. other then the obvious differences whats the difference in the body? it looks the same as the original. just different assecories. isnt there a way that you could eventually buy those assecories seperatly online?

But you can switch the chins/mouths out, right? So if you don't like pouty Bats, you can go with another alternative.

BBTS has dropped their price to $165.

Just saw this myself. I got the TDK version Batman from Hastings during their sale for around $116 thinking that I wasn't a big enough Batman fan to warrant spending $200 on the DX version, but now that it's only $165 I think I may sell the TDK Batman for a small profit and get the DX version. It hasn't even arrived yet.

The head is resculpted and to me, better, a notable change is a better job on the shape and size of the cowl nose. Of course, the movable eyes is new.

As for the body, I think it's pretty much the same construction as the original, so it won't look very different, but I think the body proportions have been improved a fair ammount and may even be improved further.

DC Direct shipments, HK has Q1 2010 release, BBTS has Q2 2010.

I'd say no if they're saying Q2, probably means they're 3 months after HK shipments which is usually indicator it's DCD, 3-6 months seems to be the gap between HK and DCD shipments, which also means if he's late Q1 or even early Q2 for HK people, he'll be late Q2 early Q3 for DCD folks.
