They should make the DX compatible with the bat pod.
They should also get rid of that ridiculous smiling mouth and replace it with a screaming mouth from that epic scene:

"Hit me!"

"AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!!"

This is quite funny cos when i watched the dark knight there's a bit where i thought it looked just like george clooney. In the interrogation scene just after batman slams jokers head into the table. As he walks around him n looks down he has this sort of slight smirk n i thought he looked JUST LIKE george clooney. So when i saw people saying this sculpt looks like george clooney i thought it was pretty weird. Maybe it looks like clooney cos bale sometimes looks like clooney. Just with particular expressions. Or maybe its just me. lol Either way, i'm probably planning on sticking with the angry look for the dx when i get mine, so shouldnt be a problem. lol

Also, i just had a thought. Theoretically, couldn't you remove the mouth peice from the original costume batman and replace it with one of these? Obviously glueing it in place as i'm sure there wouldnt be any way of it staying in place. Just a thought, could just make the OC batman look a bit more new and interesting.

Must be something fairly recent, the background looks like he's in a case with no wall, the Japan toy show, SDCC and Toy Hunters all have backdrops right behind the figure.

It's substandardness is relative to one's standards, if someone likes it, then it's not substandard to them.

Yeah, I'd be happy with it as it is, which might seem like a silly thing to say but lets face it, its no different from where we are at the moment with people slating it when its a pre production figure. Once its been released people can freely say it is rubbish, but at the moment all they can say is it might be rubbish.

Hot Toys can't do right for doing wrong, they make a figure and get slagged off for making a substandard/not close enough likeness/not well enough equipped figure, but if they make a better version they get it for milking the public?
They don't have a please everyone machine so until they get one, we'll have to take what comes.

I really believe this will be a better figure than v1 from the neck down. I was going through some old shots and found this one.

Compare it to the new figure, looks much better to me.

i am not seeing really much difference from the neck down when comparing those two pics, except that V1 has bigger "tits" then V2..armor looks to be almost exactly the same...if not the same.

To me that's a huge difference, the chest was way to massive and front protruding on the v1, they've greatly reduced that.
