Is this a fair recap of this thread? I'm truly lost.

•HT shows 1/6 Chris Reeves Superman
•Everyone is in awe. Best HT figure ever made. Likeness is uncanny. Even me, who only liked Superman II and thinks the other films were trash, wants one.
•Some people want a few changes made.
•Others become weary and tired of nitpickers.
•Everyone under the sun, even the naysayers, order the figure.
•Changes are made to the figure??
•People start canceling.
•Others continue to look forward to this release.

Yea, that pretty much sums it up...but I thought the 'new' changes to the figure were pretty amazing myself? Are there actually people complaining about it? Oh wait, I'm in the DC section..

Maybe this will be the figure that bucks the trend.

You forgot a important first bullet.

•HT tells the world that Reeve Superman is coming Winter 2010, and everyone goes apepoop (kid Freak frendly word) when HT doesn't show the figure first day of Winter. And proceeds to damn HT to hell because of it.

This does look newer. Promotional picture taken by Hot Toys themselves. There is no dispute now IMO.

That is a kewl box design!

Some dweeb will come in and say the S isn't accurate to the movie suit though.

"S" on the box is totally wrong.

Hope Hot Toys fixes that before it ships.

If that's the box then it's the best packaging I've ever seen.

I can't wait for this figure! I never doubted it, loved the old sculpt, love the changes, just hurry up and get it to me Hot Toys!

Guys, you have to see this pics

Newbie here but haven't quite log in for quite some time.
A friend had informed me of the photos I took that had made it's way over here.I took those photos at the recently concluded ACG in Guangzhou,China toy fair.The head sculpt seems much better than the one at SDCC and ACGHK last July.
Can't wait for this to be release in December2011 or early January2012.
