Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

very interesting box design. i like it but I'm very curious to see how everything looks packaged in there.

OMG, i hope we see some pics from you some time this week!

Wookster has been asking around and has just told me on Facebook that
it's a bit like a puzzle the two triangular stands can be folded to fit in the corner and make it like regular oblong shape.
Which is pretty cool

That latest pic looks great. You can see the more striking eyes too.

I find it all rather interesting that they amended the sculpt. What made it happen I wonder?!

Origami?

No thanks. Cancelled.

For real this time :lecture

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Is that really gonna be the box?? :lol

Looks more like a fold out dio or something to me.. :monkey3

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Looks more like something i'll put in the attic with the other boxes to me..

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Could only be a backdrop, will the figure even fit in the S part of it?If so it will be very tight in there.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Could be a box of "S" shaped chocolates.

I have absolutely no doubt that the changes made to the sculpt only happened because freaks on this thread pleaded and implored Hot Toys to improve on it.

I was fine with the previous sculpt so this is all cool with me but do Hot Toys visit these threads? I would've they would look to the Asian boards before a western one.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Isn't there always a little disclaimer at the bottom of their pre-release pics, stipulating that the final product may vary?

Hence Lejuan's pic.. :lol

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

If this is the box, it's absolutely awesome! and I think it is! However I doubt the base can go into this in one piece. It's probably a kit!

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Shipping soon you say eh? Can hardly wait, though I thought Cap was coming out first.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

possibly it comes with slip cover

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Be nice to see the crystal \S/ from the Movie campaign for the slip cover...:)

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Personally I think the box looks naff, if that is indeed the box.
Also...why choose what was actually one of the better pics of the old sculpt to compare to the new? Maybe I'm nuts but I think the old sculpt looks better in those particular comparison shots!

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

That old sculpt should be purged from the thread. It didn't, and still doesn't look like Christopher Reeve. Hot Toys greatly improved this figure with the extra effort of the new sculpt.

:exactly: Now that he looks like Reeve it's time to pre-order this fellow!!:yess:
