My quote is 228 ttl. There was no shipping quote and further it seems free shipping is only offered for the reg, so I don't know what's going on. I hope they honor the free shipping for all Supes orders as they said they would.

Its a perfect figure but not enough variation to warrant a 2nd one.

With Jack Sparrow at least you get 2 comletely differant faces and outfit choices, one serious with hat on and coat on, one smiling without hat and coat.

Here its just one head, one expression, eyes looking the same way, same costume. I think a 2nd would only detract from how special it is.

I am happy with the normal edition but I am buying the EX as an investment.

thinking about ordering from corner store comics. never dealt with them before. are they reputable?

I had pre-ordered my HT Iron Man Mk VI from them. I recommend them.
Shipping is phenomenal. They put the figure box (still sealed in the Hot Toys shipper box) inside another box with packaging materials all around it.
Even Sideshow doesn't do that.

I'm little confused why they don't say the base lights up in the specs listed at the end. I really hope it does.
You're probably right about it not lasting until then. Maybe not even until tomorrow. I am a huge Superman fan, but I also need what's affordable, lol. This is a tough decision.

A page or two ago a SS rep posted that the free shipping was only good for the regular edition and not the EX, so although there's no listed price as we checked out we will indeed be charged for shipping when they process.

Cornerstore is good, but I recommend paying through PayPal, not your credit card. They have been hacked a couple times in the past, so using PayPal protects you some. Just keep the amount you need in your PayPal and not more. I have ordered many times from them, and have been happy each time.

If you buy 2 regular Superman's that's when a deposit is required.

This figure will not last until the weekend. My collection has absolutely no focus on Superman, but there is no way I could've passed this piece up.

Also went with 1 exclusive. Thats all for now. I'll have a good superman/bad superman internal battle as to whether I order a regular version aswell.

Wow, I completely missed that part. Thanks for pointing that out. I was really hoping it lit up.
i just can't decide if the kryptonite is worth an extra $20. I don't know which one to order.

Um are you saying SSCis charging $20 more for the SSE? I just ordered it off SSC and staring at screen now, exclusive & non-exclusive are same price $209.99usd.

Ok shipping...that is a little cheesy. Does the exclusive kryptonite necklace weigh enough to charge $20. I'd be less offended if the SSE was just $229.99

The EX will be worth tons more for that little green rock. Not that it should, but it will simply because it is limited amd will likely not be included in any more Editions, like a 2 in 1 or DX, otherwise it wouldn't be an exclusive. How limited? We'll see...
