is the 3A Halo Carter worth picking up??? Im a moderate halo fan, i spend more time collecting the figures than I play the games, lol

I'll give you an honest opinion in the next couple of days. He's still sealed in his plastic box insert. Looks impressive so far. Just hadn't had time to mess with it since it arrived yesterday. Stay tuned.

Got my Iron Monger in today...

Easily one of the most impressive pieces Hot Toys has produced. Not only is it massive, but incredibly detailed as well. I'm sooooo glad I didn't pass on this figure.

I'll post some pics with the rest of the crew once I get my new display set up.

17.5" a little shorter if you go with a pose with bent knees, i have him standing next to 21" iMac and his head goes to the top to give you a reference; but like many of us already said, its so much huger in person

Just got mine from BBTS. Impressive in hand. Can already see a crack in both hip sockets. However, that wasn't unexpected so i'm not all that bummed. I don't think i'm going to exchange him since it seems likely the next one will have cracks, just in a different spot.

Early impressions are good, although i was surprised he's just smooth plastic in some areas. I assumed the metal texture would just continue everywhere.

He looks great on my desk at work, but there's no way i'm leaving a $500 toy unattended on the weekends. That's just asking for trouble.

They all get delivered to my work since i live in a gated condo complex. However since HT's are fragile, they come home with me. On the other hand, on my desk i have the old Hasbro 1/6 Han + 1/6 Tauntaun, 1/4 Neca Capt, and some Kotobukiya ArtFX stuff.

Pretty much I only keep stuff at work that can take a tumble when i'm gone. I'm not worried about theft, but i know people stop by my desk and look at my stuff, so I just leave things that can be replaced or dropped.

Sidenote: everyone knows i collect this stuff now so when the UPS guy comes around my area gets crowded with lookiloos. Seems like everyone can appreciate the quality, even if they can't stomach the price

I have HT stuff at work. Used to have my Iron Men here until I got too many of them. Now it's just my Tron bike. Never had any issues, even before I got my office.

I saw some on ebay a week or 2 ago, not now and if i believe my memory serves right they were going for 70$? Also i believe that Hot toys sold just the crushed helmet so maybe search for that on JP sites

Have to say I agree with all of you in person this thing is incredible and way bigger then i even thought from pics.

Another quick question where did people get the tan/khaki suit for stain? Trying to find a good suit for him now!

If you do go the Man in Suit route, I'd recommend using cotton to pad out the figure, otherwise the suit is a bit too baggy.

After the increase of prices on the new diecast figs i thought £345 posted for 1 of these was a bargain and i just got him today

I just opened him and wow he is a big mother and so amazing the pics dont do him any justice at all. The last hot toys fig i had this big was the power loader and even my Jake Sully doesn't compare.

I cant wait to get my 2 HT's Hulks now

They claim to have free shipping but I personally think its built into the price but can not fault them for packaging.
