MMS164 - Iron Man: Iron Monger Limited Edition Collectible Figure

Just got this guy as present from my wife! She got it from a local(ish) retailer MISB.

It's awesome! I've given it a check over for issues such as the cracked hips and leaking batteries, and I'm please to say its near perfect. Big thanks to all those on here who take the time to highlight those issues so the rest of us know what to look for.

Now I'm off to mod my detolf so he'll fit lol.

I left plenty of room as I plan on increasing the Mongers height by extending his feet down but I want to get something to pop under the feet to support the pose first.

Sorry I don't get the reference.


I found some stuff around the house to support the Monger in flight mode for increased height.


Foot Support by Chr0nus, on Flickr

I used a couple of door finger guards from when my little girl was a toddler, one under each heel and two wall faster covers left over from some ikea book cases to support the ball of each foot and prevent them from slipping down flat.

The finger guards provide enough grip that the pose is stable.

checked mine the other day when was cleaning the display and noticed it has developed cracks. ohwell doesnt effect it at all, wonder how long they have been there for

Were these cracks on any of the numerous pistons along his arms, legs, and back?

It seems, if there was a part that would break/crack on this figure, it would be one of the movable pistons.
