Which is simply not the case. Hot Toys is expecting you to pay less than half as much for a 12" figure as Sideshow charges for 1/4 Premium Format and comiquette statues.

Another interesting comparison is the roughly 1/6 scale Avatar Neytiri Sideshow statue ($289.99) and the 1/6 scale Avatar Jake Sully Hot Toys figure ($314.99).

I thought the same thing when I saw this pic. I bet the majority of us will want to achieve that pose as our display pose. It reminds of how most people have the RJ headsculpt on the Mark IV while holding his helmet.

I'm a big Iron Man fan and i've wanted an Iron Monger for ages, so to me it's well worth the price and i'm getting it for sure. This will look great with the rest of my Iron Man collection.

It's definately worth it but at that price you'd wanna be sure you want it for your collection. If you're an Iron Man fan it's a no brainer if you're not then you have to weigh it up against the other awesome figures coming out and see if it fits into your budget
