i don't think anyone on here ever said Kobe was perfect, but i think the nickname is a point of contention - especially since he's acting like a king now.....

The video being taken is lame. I think far more is being made of his nickname though than should be. Who gives a damn what they call him. I think folks are looking more into it than what they need.

I know the point was made earlier but Kobe got a lot of press early well before he deserved it. Not to mention the reason he's in LA is he forced the Hornets to trade him. Said he wouldn't play for them back in the day. Plus he's had other issues so the guys not perfect either.

Nobody is making this a Kobe versus Lebron thing, you're the one who just did that. If the mojority feel that this guy is acting like an ass how can they be wrong? Like I said, the guy has bought into his own hype and he proved it by walking off the court after losing and not shaking hands and getting that tape confiscated.

Well, it seems that nobody wants to make bigger issues out of what Lebron does than need to be. Yes, they're worth talking about but made to be some kind of really ^^^^ty thing or the guy is not a good person because he did them.

The nickname being an issue is lame at best. Really who cares? Its what happens on the court that matters IMO.

Nobody is making this a Kobe versus Lebron thing, you're the one who just did that. If the majority feel that this guy is acting like an ass how can they be wrong? I was just simply bringing up a point that when Lebron does something a big deal gets made out of it. I also didn't state that anyone was wrong for saying the tape being taken was lame. I said that myself. Or did you just choose to skip that? Should he have shaken hands? Yeah, he should have.

In the end I think far more crap is being made about when Lebron takes a piss than Kobe. I find it a bit funny that the majority that do tend to live in Lakerland. My guess is if this stuff was being said about Kobe you all would be here defending him tooth and nail. Heck, I'd have love to seen this thread over the last few years when Kobe was acting like a freaking dip stick.

Really? If Kobe did it would you be saying the same thing about him? I can't find it on YT but I remember seeing Kobe walk off from a game and not shake hands.

so i guess the lesson that i have learned here is if you're a Lakers fan you are not allow to say that you don't like something from another team or another player because Kobe Bryant is on "my" team.

Now that i know this i will just stick to talking about the game itself.

Nothing is wrong with not liking his nickname, but what is funny is that like i said, if Lebron was a laker and still didnt "earn" the title as king, Laker fans would still use the title to rub into everyone else's faces.

But since he is not a laker, you guys say he didnt earn it and it's BS he's nicknamed the king.

Please don't make me laugh by saying you would be giving him ^^^^ for the name if he had a yellow and purple jersey on.

Just like how laker fans were all over Shaq's nuts while he was bringing you championships, but once he was traded he all of a sudden became a joke. Same goes for Artest, now you guys all think he's the greatest but just a year or two ago he was a bat-^^^^ crazy loser.

I had no idea he even had a nickname He probably gave himself that name, which in the bible it says that a nickname is not official unless it is given by someone else or by Shaq. and Shaq is the only one who can name himself.

It really doesn't matter of Kobe was with Lakers or not...I still Like Shaq, Robert Horry and Fisher when they were on other teams. But now Shaq let everything go to his head and started acting Like a Ass and not backing it up on the court. Did I still boo them when they played the Lakers ....Hell yeah it a Sport your root for your team and Boo the other guys that's they way the games is be it basketball, football,baseball or Hockey.(hell Kobe feeds off it did you see the playoffs)
but no matter the sport you play like PRO not some lucky kid who got the golden ticket and gose wild in the candy factory....there are to many other people ready you take that ticket from you and run with it.
