I don't think this 1/4 approach works that well in the case of clothed characters like captain america. He looks pretty cheap. They can try to make it look like cloth, but it still looks like plastic. Predator managed to hide a lot of the joints and was no worse then a hot toys product aside from paint imo. Could pass for high end if given a good paintjob. But cap looks like he'd be a big toy no matter what you did to him.
Iron man though, just because of the nature of his robotic design, could both look and articulate awesomely at 1/4. And much like predator, could pass as high end with a good paint job.

Iron Man should look great, and if they do Hulk, I think that'll look as good as any Predator, I do agree that 1/4 scale sculpted cloth is hard to give a high end feel with the limited paint apps NECA can deliver in this price range.

I think Iron Man is the only one i'll get from this line, clothed figures just look weird at that scale with the joints.

Turned out pretty well. I'd never own anything with that Captain America helmet because he looks like a weiner's tip but I'm looking forward to Hulk and seeing how Iron Man turns out.

I already think it looks 5 times better than the Hot Toys version simply cause the proportions are better...If only they made it in 1/6th!

The proportion is 10 times better. I honestly don't get why HT can't get the proportions right like every other company out there. It's a shame the ones Neca are throwing out aren't 1/6 scale. A 18 inch Iron Man is too much for me but this honestly looks great.

I know right? and Hot Toys says they used the actual 3D models for reference this time -___- It's mainly the head and neck that bug the hell out of me on all the Iron Man figs, make it bigger! It just doesn't look a head could fit inside the helmets, or a human can fit inside the suit. I hope to god they fix it.
