If I had the space, I'd get that IM no doubt. Not really sold on Cap, since his colors look really washed out, but that metallic on IM looks almost as good as HT's metallic paint.

Do the NECA figures come with some type of base or stand? Or are there recommended bases or stands for 1/4 figures?

way too big for me to care. the sculpt on IM looks nice enough though. im assuming they will properly paint and add missing details before it hits retail.

knowing neca the articulation will be fairly limited...but i doubt many people collecting these would care too much. the novelty is having a huge IM not fancy poses

Shouldn't his bottom "lip" be gold? I guess its to do with it not being final? Deffinately need to see this thing in a better pose though, cos it just looks weird in those pictures. Better paint then i expected though.

yes, the collar area is also missing basically every detail that should be there as well. too early to tell what the retail release will look like though...too many things can change between this and then once all the factors are actually in play

Far from it. In fact, its too vibrant! I own this bad boy! I can't stress enough how awesome Cap is. IM will compliment him greatly!!!! Avengers Ho!

Anyone else thinks this looks faded? The blue pops a little too much in my room with all my other figures and statues.

^^Cap looks better there than in any of the reviews I've seem. Iron Man still looks like he's reaching for something. Hopefully the interchanable hands are more for using the repulsar look. Also, paint doesn't look as metallic/shiny as I had hoped but this is still an early proto type I think so I'll hold judgment.

The star on the chest and A on the head look fantastic in that pic. Is it possible to put both arms down to hold the shield in front of him?

Can't get over how fantastic Cap looks. The zippers, the different layers, the texturing on the gloves, it's really well done.


Iron Man looks great too, just wish we could see it with the eyes and reactor lit up.
