How are they able to get the intricate detailing on the Jerico suit's tie right, but totally screw up Joker's? :duh(even in DX form)

NICE! I've been charged for mine from Toys2 and it's en route. Looks really good in your pics, best I've seen yet. How would you rate it?

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

Huh....the collar of the shirt is having the same problem as I've seen with other customs....its too high making the neck all but disappear.....can it be futzed with or is that how it lays?

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

Should have this this week. I think the head looks a bit small with this suit on but it'll pass. I like the way you have him posed as though he's showing off the mark III.

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

Mine's also en-route from Toys2. Looks like it could fit better, but still for the price ($45 shipped) its not a bad deal.

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

I'm hoping that it arives this week as well. It shipped for me on 4/21. I have a feeling that once in hand it will look pretty good, and I'm sure I can get the clothes to lay to my liking.

I want to try and find a cocktail or martini glass in 1/6 scale...

That's how it lays. A guy on ToyWorld (where the very first pics came from posted in the Iron Man MK II & III threads) suggested gluing the shirt to the body to fix that. The problem is: the shirt doesn't have a closure around the collar. So even if you use the tie to close it tight, there's still too much material there. The shirt was designed to be open.. so the collar seems bigger than normal. Overall I still think the Toys2 suits look better.

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

Looks good. I think I'll keep my RD suit that I'm using but this looks dang good.

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

Looks good! Toys2 sent mine out on Saturday, so I should receive it sometime this week if I'm lucky.

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

Just got these from the bay for around $68 shipped.

I'm not too keen on the tailoring and the fit on these. Hopefully these looks better in person.

Yeah I have 2 coming today and also think from what i've seen they look weak (Mostly the button holes and shirt collar) I think a little bit of futzing may help .................... hehe i'll let you guys know in a couple hours at least :D

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

Once the collar is properly futzed the only thing that bugs me is the broad shoulders, which is a problem with the TT. This should look really good on the new narrow shoulder TT's.

Yeah no doubt and by then I will upgrade many different bodies.

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

I can't wait for the DX Tony Stark figure :lol

That's probably the route I'll go as well... use the regular for now, but plan to upgrade once a the next body is released. It would also be nice if the TT came with more hand options. I really don't like the look of the relaxed hands... they just look off to me.

Re: HT Tony Stark Suit

Overall i'm not impressed, personally I just don't like it. Heres what I put together but with the ef'n frankensteins monster shouldered TT this thing looks like crap.

To be honest the tailoring isn't all that great either, especially at the wrist area. The shoulder stitching is puffy too, not at all impressed. My mind MAY change when I try the new TT coming out this summer and another $70 later.

^^^^ Hot Toys. For the longest time they had the Ironman still as their preorder pic and nothing of an actual prototype. Maybe this is just a stupid 1/6 suit but it costed me over $130 with 2 lousy TT's.
