I'll be grabbing Vigo, however with Christmas in just over a week I won't be able to take an additional hit of $240 + shipping for the two twin packs lol,will wait to see if they get discounted, lesson learned from last year

I am so happy I went with my “Gut Feeling” about the original Egon and Ray releases and decided not to make the purchase. The new Ray head sculpt is not perfect but far superior to the original. Egon when compared to the old makes me feel sad for those who owned the original (sorry). Accessories are more than enough. Very happy they included the Ecto goggles and PKE meter. I did notice that there is no Ghost Trap...but that is fine.
I mentioned in previous posts that I did buy a 12inch Egon at the discount sale. The reason for this purchase was to have a extra tan suit. Once I receive this two pack I will transfer the GB1 tan suit to Egon and give Ray the GB2 tan suit. This way the original Winston, Peter (already have) and Egon will all sport yellow hoses. I will then give Ray the GB2 tan suit with clear hose (I noticed that the Grey GB2 suit does not have a hose, weird as the 6inch does). I will also give Egon the ghost trap from the original release.
In the end I will have all four busters in tan suit with one holding the Slime Blower. Also a grey suit Egon with original head that I might sell for $60 to make my money back for 1/2 the two pack!!!!!

Having bought all 4 at first release I feel totally screwed by Mattel. Not only that they give us hughe discounts after 1 year, they even rerelease these after 1 year as a superior set. Really annoying. I have quit on GB 1/6 scale. Hopefully I can sell my 4 guys for what I have paid for.
God, i really wish Mattel would go bankrupt... they just make some stupid stupid decisions... any other company would have crumbled by now.

Not really fussed for this line at all anymore, so have decided that once Vigo arrives on subscription I am going to sell the whole lot. Can't be bothered to go through the hassle of having to buy each figure separately next year.

Got Vigo yesterday and I really like the figure. I love the lenticular painting that came with him too. Really cool that the backside has the painting of the Ghostbusters in the renaissance style. A Fettuccine I believe.

!Well I used all the gloves from my multiple Venkman purchases to equip all 4 busters with gloves.
They look a lot better now.

Ray head does seem to be a slight improvement, but overall, those 12 inchers still look pretty bad.
I think the gear alone is worth the $60.00,
get Spenser's heads, and a Truetype and you have awesome custom GB figures...
Maybe so. . .but you could've picked up that gear during their sale for $25
Of course, a really decent custom requires custom elbow pads, custom suits, custom belts, good custom paint jobs, etc., and the price gets ridiculous. I gave it a shot, and then gave up
